To many players just stood and watched whilst their player chased & kept the ball in and got his cross over then we just watched whilst their guy ran in at the far post to score.
To many players seem to be just strolling around with their heads down as though they don't really care, I think a few need some rockets shoved up their rear ends to fire them in to gear.
I think the problem we have here, is not that the players don,t care, but i think that they are struggling to adapt to the system that Adam and Jamie want them to play.
Lets be honest, does anyone know what formation we played against Hemel? ,i believe it was 4-5-1 , but at times it looked like a "lop-sided" 4-3-3, with many passes going astray, and some players not on the same wavelength, i missed the Concord game ,but what i can gather is that it was more of the same? , no real creativity going forward , and when the" few" chances did come they were wasted .
It is still early days , but what we witnessed against Chelmsford does give us hope for the season, but we do need to start finding the back of the net soon, otherwise it could be a long and arduous season ahead.

Nobody likes losing but sometimes it is the way you lose.
Our new managers have their own idea's and it will take time
for their style to bed in.
But my worry is ......We don't even look like scoring from open play!
Concorde were nothing special so what does that say for us?
Early days ......yes
But we must get our act together because there are better teams than
Concorde in this league.
We have no divine right to win games and I don't think that we are relegation fodder
But unless our goals for tally improves it could be mid table mediocrity.

What formation did we play against HH? Your guess is as good as mine Cap.

Its good to read Flanners is as much worried about the lack of goals in open play as we seem to be, even talking about making changes if it does not improve

The talk of making changes anytime soon suggests to me that we have more players this season who have not yet been given contracts.

As with being a Manager in any business IF something i'snt working then the brave decision is too change it rather than stick your head in the sand ignoring the problem and hoping it goes away

I think 4-2-3-1 is a better description.
It's just my opinion of course, but I think the problem is that the 3 have been too narrow and the 1 has been totally isolated. The only time we have any width is on rare occasions when the full-backs get down the line. The 1 isn't a natural goal-scorer anyway, so even when it gets through to him there's no real goal threat.
It's not really working yet but Jamie and Adam will know that and it's all still a work in progress at the moment.
As Park Life always says, keep the faith.

1st goal straight at Del and defence asleep. Don’t matter how hard shot was.
2nd goal defence asleep again, as was the theme with the team most the game.
Flan and Coyle too quiet as was everyone else.
Sam doesn’t produce anything, a big guy who can’t control, gets shoved off the ball, doesn’t play others in and can’t shoot.
We were disorganised and bullied by them, they were organised and physical.
A couple of players did not give 100%.
Alex wall is what we needed instead of Sam.
Can’t pass the ball to each other, went to opposition way too many times.
Panic came in and we went back to TBs aimless hoofball but this was because we couldn’t play, had no ideas and were disorganised.
Tom B said need to get used to new style. I’m Tom Bs biggest fan but getting used to it is nothing to do with this performance.
Ben did well, we missed nobes.
While this was truly awful and the management and players must both take responsibility and not fluff over it with excuses of a new style I support them 100% to learn from this game and get it right.
I also have massive respect for the fact that flan and Coyle are trying to play on the floor.

Couldn't make the Concord game but just seen the clip of first goal.
Straight at Darrin & defence asleep?? Jesus...Wall was well out wide & hit a screamer, not unlike Van Basten in the Euros years ago, no-one could have stopped it!!
That was a 'Mayor of Hiroshima' job!!
