Top ref in the National South yesterday was Jack Packman. According to the Non League Paper he refereed at both Havant & W and Welling.
Now that takes some doing!

I'm all for a SK team and it's good that he can get these players in. But yesterday I thought it was to the detriment of our teams performance. It was scrappy and a few lost their way. Once Jordan came on we started to settle. Were there injuries? Because if not, I fail to see why Crookie, McNulty and McGregor maybe didn't start.
Jack and Noor coming straight in was a bit of a surprise. Although Jack's goal was superb Noor did lose his way somewhat and Nobe's was well off the pace, and he would be the first to admit it.
Thankfully Elliot is back next week and we really need to shape up against Wealdstone. At first being where they are I thought was a bit of a surprise but they are proving everyone wrong.
The wind didn't help and AJ going walkabout yesterday first half was a bit worrying. Close thing between Darren and Tom B for me.

A good win that keeps us in the play off positions and have to say Darren was brilliant. If SK can hang on to him next season I will extremely happy and will be looking forward to seeing him score 30 plus goals next season
SK continues to impress by picking out another two new gems but I have to say yesterday’s team was not a patch on the dynamic team we watched through January. However it is fascinating seeing Steve work on this squad. I cannot wait until next season

It's a results-driven business and at this stage of the season a win is far more important than the performance. It was not the usual flowing football from us but with so many changes to the midfield, it was half expected. However, if we put in the same performance levels in next week against Wealdstone, I think that the result will be different. Disappointing to see Noble go off but it was the correct call and maybe a month's loan will enable him to get back his match sharpness but his replacement (Wynter) put in a good shift.
For the first time this season, it appears that there will be 8 teams in the mix for the play-offs, I think that M@id$tone have now got too much to do. Hopefully, we will have Hyde back, along with a couple of others for next week but it would be nice to hear more on the current player availability. Is Luke Allen still injured and how long will it be before Sam Blackman & Andy Pugh get match fit again? If they are not going to be involved I would imagine the SK will spin the revolving door again.

One has to wonder about Steve King. He really is quite an enigma. So many players in and out, some comments from outbound players being ignored and isolated, yet the man has a die-cast history of success and seems to be so well connected in his industry that pretty much what he wants, he gets.
The easy way to explain this - and possibly the genuine truth - is that he is simply very good at his job. But is he existing as a big fish in a small pond? Could (should) his talents be used at a higher level if he is consistently successful at non-league level? I’d like to think that the Dartford first XI will settle a bit as King’s journey with the club goes on, in fairness some of the players have started most games under him (Dazzler, Romain, Wanadinho and the centre backs), but if King’s way is to refresh after each and every game, then he has my backing if the method continues to work.
We weren’t great to watch yesterday. There were a couple of players whose performances were not as good as some who have been show the door. Yet we won. The oft rolled out adage of beating the big sides but struggling against the minnows does not apply so far this season. The true test will be to break the mould against the leaders next week. The same performance will not yield three points, so how will King do it? I’m looking forward to finding out.

There is no question King is to good for his job, owners employ him for success and when he gets it they panic ! He should be at the likes of Crawley or above. Thing is we have him and how many fans would of had a tenner on us to be where we are january1st? When he makes changes and we win , we must view it the same as when he makes changes and we lose. This will be a rollercoaster , lots of ups and downs, buckle in and enjoy the ride!!

Unfortunately Jack Jebb's interview is very difficult to understand because of the wind (maybe inside or under cover next time).
