Park Life is right. Apart from the village idiot, there isn't really any negativity around at the moment. I think we are all realistic enough to understand that with players already committed to contracts and a dressing room that must resemble an episode of M.A.S.H. just after the helicopters have been, mid-table security is as much as could be reasonably asked of Steve King for the rest of this season. Sure we have some very good players, but we've barely had enough to even get a team out over the last few games and anyone with any sense will appreciate that whilst SK's primary focus is on survival, he has already stated that any recruitment he makes is also with an eye to NEXT season, when the serious stuff will begin.

As for Saturday, the game was all over by 3.30pm and that was disappointing of course, but they are a decent side and we simply didn't have the personnel required to win the game. In particular, the absence of all 4 of our senior central midfield players was a massive disadvantage and whilst the score was a bit harsh, I don't think those of us who were there were too surprised at losing the game.

Steve King has already brought in a few quality players and I'm sure there is more to come. Patience is the key word and personally, I'm not looking for quick fixes, I am content to let the man get on with the job of keeping clear of the dropzone whilst simultaneously building for next season. I'm very happy with how we are progressing at the moment and all the fans I speak to seem to have similar views.

I thought we only had one shot on target - Ronnie Vint’s header in the first half - which was tipped over the bar. Of course, it could very well be that I may have missed something a few minutes either side of half time whilst on refreshment duties...
Bath were pretty decent in fairness - their no.4 was like a carrot-topped Lee Noble and the no.10 was a cross between James Beattie and the Incredible Hulk. One to forget for us.
I think he made at least two saves Mikey , probably imagined the other one  , perhaps the old eyes are deceiving me :? but you are right "one to forget "

I thought down at Maidstone we played some really good stuff although on the back foot a lot of the game. We defended well, we broke from defence well and we scored albeit with a team that Kingy had to scrape around to get. With players out of position we looked comfortable against a team that has 22+ players to chose from.
If SK can make a game from that with his hands tied I feel he can go in the right direction before the end of this season and we will be comfortable.

You also thought that we shouldn't have been awarded a blatant penalty as well !!
But if given, we may well of skied it, & not got the win anyway??
