Not too surprised though. We have championed mediocrity haven’t we?

For me it all about finances, we do not have the financial muscle these days, despite having healthy average home crowds.

Only positive to take is the relegation of The team who play in gold shirts down the road.

Good luck to Elliot B. Away from the Darts.

Shake up needed and no more old boys club thing, it didn't work.

Woking and torquey aside do you think we don’t have the finances to sustain a playoff challenge?

Yeah, how on earth can we expect to compete with the financial powerhouse clout of Welling, Concord and St Albans?

This is one of the reasons why there was such a big rift in the dressing room and we could not offload the unnamed player as nobody else was prepared to offer him as good a deal. You can't blame him for not wanting to move on if he was on such big bucks. At least now he will be off the books.
We have signed and then off loaded so many players I haven't got a clue which one you are referring to.

Problem number 1. Our recruitment this season has been dreadful, the worst I can remember. Our only 2 good signings are Ben and McQueen, neither of which I can see us having next season which will be a big loss

Alex Wall scored 20 plus goals for concord if we had kept him we would have walked the playoffs ...would still like to know why from the club we let him go . Let’s have a honest answer.

The rest of the season as I have said many times we played with part time players picking and choosing their games , on loan players or crap players except noble....and don’t worry ‘up the darts’ I got cristised for that comment too

Change needed 100%

New manager, build a young squad who have the capability of taking us further, this group of players (other than a few of course) are not capable of that.

First half was pretty even, but the second half was very disappointing as we started it poorly and didn't get any better. Other than one header from Ronnie we never created another decent chance and never looked like scoring. They showed more enthusiasm for the game in the second half and with so much at stake the lack of desire from us was disturbing, but not surprising.
On the way to the game i wasn't confident as the current form table doesn't lie and we have only won once in the last eight games so it came as no surprise we lost today. Thank god the season has finished as this is relegation form and to be honest we have been crap for the last couple of months.

We have signed poor players all season, got progressively worse the longer the season has gone on and worryingly there seems to be no team spirit whatsoever. I was expecting a slow start to the season and for us to get better and make a push late on but it has been going downhill for some time. IMO with the current management set up we are only heading in one direction and it ain't promotion. Next season there will be no honeymoon period as that has been used up this season so i have a very bad feeling that after a month or so it is all going to get very very messy.

If it was your money funding next seasons players budget would you have 100% confidence that Adam & Jamie can assemble a team capable of achieving a play off spot?
I know my answer....

While Concord, Braintree and Lincoln City have benefited from the rise of the Cowley brothers we've just had to endure one hell of a rollercoaster ride of a season under the Bembom Brothers.

So would Wall have definitely scored 20 goals for DFC is that what you are Saying ? Who can judge that. Different service etc etc. If Alex wall had gone to Torquay would/could He have scored 30 goals what is your point. Hypothetical I think
