it was nice to see the finished ground it looks really nice, thought a draw was a fair result and darren looked good and will be a good assent if we can keep him till end of the season.thought our defence had trouble all afternoon and dan with not getting much help from ben getting back.

was walking to the station and heard their fans saying they need 50 pts to stay up, i dont think they will they looked better than some of the other teams below them.

as for woking game i hope we dont regret to not segregate the game :o :o

My first visit to Sloughs new ground and got talking to one of their supporters at half time and he reckons it cost £15m? Not sure if that included buying the land as well but seems a bit pricey bearing in mind three of the stands seem to be temporary structures. Having said that i was very impressed with the facilities and it's a very nice ground.

As for the game we conceded within the first minute but managed to gradually get back into it and got the equaliser. Second half we started well and got our noses in front but didn't hold the lead for more than a couple of minutes and in all honesty Slough had far more possession and we did well to grind out a draw. Was a bit disappointed with our performance as we had started to look good recently but they looked a decent side and put us under a lot of pressure so probably a good result in the end. I do wonder however if the pitch had something do with it as IMO it was very fast and had a very high bounce compared to a lot of other artificial pitches we have played on recently.

Not many contenders for MOTM. Ben did OK but MOTM for me by a long way was Darren McQueen. Had a really good game and looks a real threat every time he gets the ball.

Ozy asked
Trevor, what was you doing up at 3.20am?
To be honest I was thinking the same thing :o
I was watching something on the television around midnight then nodded off shortly after and woke up just after 3.00am but I always have a quick look on the website before bed so followed my normal instinct only to find nothing posted following the match so thought I had better kick it off.

Not one of our better performances, but we have a bit about us now and found a way to get something from the game. Slough look a decent team, better than I expected, but one of their fans told me that they have been very erratic this season, so perhaps we caught them on a good day. I used to be very anti 3G pitches, but in recent years I think they've improved quite a lot, Sutton's in particular was very good. Yesterday though, we really seemed to struggle on Slough's pitch. It's very rare to see Bradders completely misjudge the bounce by a couple of feet, as he did a few times yesterday and I don't think we ever quite came to terms with the surface. Slough caused many problems for our normally steadfast back four and Johnson in particular had a very difficult afternoon. Still, credit to the team for grinding out the draw.

In my eyes, there were only two possible contenders for MOTM, Ben Greenhalgh did very well as usual but Darren McQueen was outstanding and gets my vote. I was excited when I heard we'd signed him and he certainly lived up to expectations yesterday. I hope we can keep him for the season as this guy could make all the difference. It was a strange game because although we were hanging on a bit at times in the second half, we still looked very capable of scoring and snatching the win. At least, we did all the while McQueen was on the pitch, which made it all the more surprising when we took him off. All things considered though, not a bad result.

I was not at all surprised Darren was taken off- he has been getting very little game time, so what we saw yesterday was Darren when not really match-fit! I'm not convinced he would have started the game if Charlie had not been unfit.

3 adds in 2 minutes. How can you warrant adds in football highlights. Daft.
