Not sure if that included buying the land as well but seems a bit pricey bearing in mind three of the stands seem to be temporary structures. Having said that i was very impressed with the facilities and it's a very nice ground.
As for the game we conceded within the first minute but managed to gradually get back into it and got the equaliser. Second half we started well and got our noses in front but didn't hold the lead for more than a couple of minutes and in all honesty Slough had far more possession and we did well to grind out a draw. Was a bit disappointed with our performance as we had started to look good recently but they looked a decent side and put us under a lot of pressure so probably a good result in the end. I do wonder however if the pitch had something do with it as IMO it was very fast and had a very high bounce compared to a lot of other artificial pitches we have played on recently.
Not many contenders for MOTM. Ben did OK but MOTM for me by a long way was Darren McQueen. Had a really good game and looks a real threat every time he gets the ball.
