I don't believe anyone is satisfied with the result but I was pleased with the reaction of the players in the second half being a man down and a goal behind. They came out and actually showed some passion and desire to get back into the game, something that has been lacking in some performances this season.

That may be true Silverado, but he would still be available for Wednesday if there was a game on.

. This time of year is so confusing for an old codger like me.. Football on weekday afternoons, different bin collection days. It's all too much, mind you if we play like last Wednesday, turning up this Wednesday to witness the grass grow may be a better option than Tuesday. Anyway I'll pitch up to watch if I get the day right.

Two early cup exits, slowly sliding down the table and one of our manager's insistence on using the same failing players. I bet Ryan & Bradders wished they never returned.
Anyway, there were certainly some talking points going by the video.

Does anybody know whether Noble is available for the Welling game.
I don't think any of us are satisfied Jonty, just maybe trying to find something positive from another disappointing performance. We made too many errors and threw the game away before clawing ourselves back to get the draw. It's easy to blame the ref but Bailey Vose made the errors, Nobes led with his arm and Coyley doesn't need to verbalise with the ref. Blaming everything on the ref is a smokescreen. As far as I'm concerned yesterday was a fail, but at least we finished strongly and I was pleased to see Bradders (my MOTM) play so well after his poor showing at Welling.

Harry/Spike, I can understand your point(s) but the baffling part was that the team only played better after Noble was sent off. It will be interesting to see if we play better without him for the 3 games. Yes, he is a little dynamo and possibly our best player season to date but he tends to get caught out of position quite and bit as well as losing possession in key areas of the park. At least it will give Bradders or someone else an opportunity to shine.
As for my original point, it just goes to show how far we have fallen under this management team, especially when JC said “we are going to be playing a better brand of football”, which I interpreted as a thinly veiled dig at TB.
Anyway, I will be there for New Year's Day and despite all our recent poor performances and still hopeful to get something out of the game as I don't think Welling are any better than us, apart from their management team.

Well jonty, Bradders did make it clear that he would only be playing a 'bit part' this season, and he must be thanking his lucky stars. As for Ryan, well, he had no where else to go.

I was going to watch the highlights until I realised it was 'pitchero'.

Ozy, I think Bradders has a huge part to play, even if a bit part player, especially as Noble will be out of the equation for 3 matches. As for Ryan, I can't see him getting another chance under JC, he fluffed his one start and will be made to pay the price. Personally, I think Ryan is past his best and does not look in good shape at this present time but I still think that given a run of games he will still be more productive that any other player in our squad, which again only highlights the lack of depth and poor player recruitment of our management team.

could we soon have another keeper come in the last three goals given away have been his fault.

It is especially frustrating at a time when we lack a goalscorer that the opposition scorer could have been a Dartford player, turning out for us in pre-season a few years ago but not being signed.
