How does concrete get waterlogged?

Braintree have sacked ex Dart George Borg after their terrible start to the season, they have been consistent though. His wonder strike against Met. Police in the FA Cup will be long remembered by those who saw it. Wonder how many reds & yellows he would have racked up under today's playing .conditions? He was a wholehearted committed and fearless tackler, if he was in your side. For the opposition though he was viewed rather differently,

If my memory serves me correctly his goal against the Met Police was one of the choices for goal of the month on Aunties Match of the Day.Llamaman wrote: ↑Mon Nov 16, 2020 7:36 pm Braintree have sacked ex Dart George Borg after their terrible start to the season, they have been consistent though. Actually, Reg, it wasn’t. That’s what made it so galling. The actual winner that month was about as bang average as you could possibly imagine.Reginald Horsfield wrote: ↑Mon Nov 16, 2020 10:54 pmIf my memory serves me correctly his goal against the Met Police was one of the choices for goal of the month on Aunties Match of the Day.Llamaman wrote: ↑Mon Nov 16, 2020 7:36 pm Braintree have sacked ex Dart George Borg after their terrible start to the season, they have been consistent though. That was a cracker of a goal. Don't know if I'm right but the only reason it didn't win the Goal of the Month was because it had no commentary. I mean, come on., you can't award it if you have no commentary. It was Match of the Day.
Re: News from around the National League South
I was standing behind the goal as George hit that screamer, which incidentally according to tonight's match programme, was 36 years ago to this very day. God, I must be getting old!!!Ozymandias wrote: ↑Tue Nov 17, 2020 1:51 pm That was a cracker of a goal. I know the BBC made some excuse for it not being eligible for Goal of the Month, but it was a cracker.... certainly the best goal I ever saw George score

I had walked around from the half way line. Being 2 up I thought I'd make my way round to the exit. Got behind the goal and saw George get the ball outside the box on the left and the rest was history. Whack.
