Steve King's comments on Kent Online hit the nail on the head "We were Brazil first half and Rag Arsed Rovers in the second". We gave Eastbourne a present at the beginning of the second half and they began to work hard until Ade Azeez killed them off with a third goal from Dan Roberts excellent cross. We have got a good team with good players and a good Manager but its only four games in and I will wait until we give Ebbsfleet and Maidstone a good hiding before I join the one horse race optimists.

In a way the 1st 20 minutes of the 2nd half brought us down to earth, some fans were talking about a 5/6 nil victory at half time
Eastbourne are a decent side and it was only in the last 10 minutes that we put the game to bed.
Yes we could have scored more in the 1st half but we didn't,
We are playing some lovely stuff but if there
was anything to learn from yesterday it is the game is not over at half time.
On to Bath and hopefully 3 points.

As everyone else appears to have mentioned we could have had 4 or 5 goals in the first half but just a bit unlucky however conceding that very early goal in the second half put us on the back foot and tending to lump the ball until we settled down and scored the third goal.
With the defence playing well in all four games and two of the goals conceded being from unusual mistakes and 11 goals being scored by us coming from various players I am looking forward to the Bath game.
With Bath having to recover from yesterdays result and wanting to prove they are up for a game I would take a 1-0 win

but who knows what we will produce on the day as long as we pick up 3 points.

A good attendance of 1193 considering some are still on holiday, fingers crossed that will keep going up especially the way the team are playing.

Unbelievable, i remind you that the comment that got my goat is that our performances in the second half ( we dont return with the same momentum) are not the same as the first half in ALL the games. Poppycock.
Steve mentions Noor wasnt as great in the second half as the first half ok i get that, but hold on everybody, Remember his Saturdays 90 minutes effort, and then his first 45 minutes yesterday. Isnt the lad entitled to flag a little. Wow there you go im disagreeing with Kingy !!!
Yes Duke Im kingy rosy eyed and apologise that my comments are over the top, but the point i constantly try and put across is that there isnt a manager out there who could assemble a squad of this talent on our budget albeit a decent one i assume and correctly calculated. I know we all know that, or i hope so but at the club yesterday people still wish to raise points about Kingy. My friend who has known him for decades very firmly answered all their points.
So apologies to everyone, The Don included, but it is a forum and these are genuinely my views. Isnt that the point of a forum ? And i dont mean that in an aggressive or argumentative way, i mean it lovingly.
