Does anyone know if the club shop is open this morning? I’m just prepping for the day (staying with a mate in Luton) and have noticed that, since the 3-0 Chelmsford win, I’ve outgrown my 2xl Darts black polo. Would quite like another to take to St Albans!

Last time I went to Clarence Park was in 2016 and we lost four nowt (two own goals) - we also lost four nowt in 2018. Not a happy hunting ground, but we'll get a result today I'm sure

So the real season starts today, opening up with a very interesting game at St Albans. Last season I saw more Darts performances than I have ever seen in a season since moving back to Merseyside for the first time in 1960, thanks to Covid, and of course the streaming of all the games. Sadly for me, it looks like it's back to twitter or PureDFC updates, unless anyone is aware of any match commentaries or coverage taking place.

Anyway, hope all those who are travelling to the game have a good day out, and we are able to get our first point/points on the board. I don't think there is anybody thinking about an easy three points for us today in a tricky opening game that can go either way.
