With the final goodbyes now made I would just like to add mine for John
I have seen him so many times over the years and I am sure that he must have surpassed my 67 years of following the Darts and I have read the previous comments and stories with so much respect as I rarely actually spoke to him myself standing at each game behind the goal.
But I was always surprised when walking round PP at half time just how many fans stopped to talk to him as they also made their way to the other end of the ground.
A true and very knowledgeable fan who will be sadly missed not just for his presence at the games but also his comments about the players
