I am NOT knocking Jamie/Adam , they were let down today and I cant believe that they will continue to allow this to happen !!!

For the 1st time ever I f.......d of home after 80 minutes , cause basically IF the team dont give a f ... WHY should I ???

I know its only 5 games in but form can improve but crap attitudes dont and that needs to be sorted P.D.Q !!!!!

MOTM - there wasnt one !!!!!

Pretty well summed up my feelings too. I don’t remember the last time I thought some players in a DFC shirt were not giving 100%. I must say that there are obvious exceptions to this. Nobes and bradders wouldn’t ever get labelled this way and that’s what we’re used to along with the other usual suspects who give their all. It’s opinions I know but in mine there are 1 or 2 that don’t give it everything they have and as a supporter that’s all you can ask when you put on the shirt that represents our club.
I won’t name anyone it will not help, but I would like to and flan and Coyle must know who they are. If they don’t then we have bigger problems.

So the league table should reflect on your money status and that’s it?
Every time we have bad moments the b word comes out as an excuse.
It happened under TB and it’s aleady happening.
I back Coyle and flan though right now it’s clearly not good.
Players who don’t give there all, and can it really be debated that this is not the case in our team with some, is absolutely nothing to do with any budget.
In comparison to all in this league, except bill and Ricky, we have a competitive budget and in most cases larger.
We’re not rich but we can get decent players to compete.
The budget excuse is a cop out and lacks understanding as to what a good football manager / coach can do.
No one is miles ahead of us financially. Bill and Ricky aside.

We need a competitive, well organised side where everyone puts in their all for the shirt playing to the managers tactics and game plan.
This is bugger all to do with money.

Absolute ridiculous comment.
No it isn't. Of course we could go down, in fact if we do nothing to address our obvious shortcomings then I would say it is highly likely.

On the evidence of the 5 league games so far, with the exception of Ben Greenhalgh, I have seen nothing to suggest that ANY of the new signings are good enough. Maybe there's a spark of hope for some of them, but even good players get despondent in a team that has so little potency up front. It is blindingly obvious that the strikers we've been playing are not up to the job and their efforts so far have been about as effective as flicking jelly tots at stampeding elephants. I imagine Alex Wall is laughing his head off at us at the moment.

It's not all down to money either. It was enough to assemble what I believe was the best squad in the league last season, even if we didn't quite make the most of it. Alex Wall's departure wasn't down to us not having the money either, it was simply that we CHOSE to spend that money on Jamie Philpott instead. Philpott may well be a decent striker, but so far he has only played in the centre up front for an hour in the first game at Bath (where he didn't do badly). Since Penaltygate he has spent the last 2 games confined to the bench. In the meantime, Alex Wall has scored 5 goals in 5 games.

I'm used to being labelled a rose tinter on here but I've always maintained that this was because generally speaking, things were pretty rosy. Today's performance however was an absolute shambles and to pretend otherwise does nobody any favours. I'll back Jamie and Adam all the way and will cheer my head off for whoever they put on the pitch, but I'm not going to come on here and pretend things are going well when they clearly are not. Anyway, it was clear from Adam's radio interview that they are every bit as gutted as I am, so unless there's a massive improvement from some of the players I imagine they'll be a few changes.

We have a couple of games against lower ranked opponents coming up and that's a chance to get things back on track.

On the face of it both Flanners and Jamie are the men for the job, former Darts and experienced at this level of football but some of the new players are clearly not good enough. Calum Driver is a good footballer but looked a liability at right back yesterday, and i'm still waiting for Chez Isaac and Kudus to do something so I can form an opinion. Greenhaigh to his credit does have a go. I know its easy to have a pop when things are going wrong but on these past 3 performances we are heading for mid-table mediocrity in front of 600 crowds. I will be at Hungerford next Saturday nice town but a shitehole of a football ground in the hope the team can put it together. I know we are not Man City or Chelsea but we are Dartford and having the Wealdstone mutants chanting "can we play you every week" is somewhat painful.

Despite my criticism of the team on an earlier post, I still back our manager's to improve the teams performances.
They both did well at Concord and Welling and hopefully they will do well for us.
But as I said earlier some of the performances on the pitch were not fit for purpose.Hopefully it will be sorted by Adam& Jamie.

Jamie has a slight hamstring problem so I'm sure that's partly the reason for sitting on the bench.
My point about the budget is right. There are question marks being posted about the new signings not being good enough. I do know that J and A looked and indeed spoke to many players currently playing for our league opponents. We could not get anywhere near their wage demands. Yes TB did a brilliant job but as we all know the league this year is totally different to the last few years. Take Wealdstone. 13 new players. Bobby Wilkinson told me yesterday that he had all his business done by May 10th. Now as Adam said in the press you cannot possibly do that without chunks of money. Players would not sign early unless the deal was a very good one. Bradley Bubb is a very good player and he is reportedly on over a k a week. How can we compete I am certain in my own mind that over Wealdstone players are on huge sums. And it showed yesterday. Wilkinson has assembled a really decent outfit and it showed they were simply better than us.

Think the closest game to this last season was Poole at home, after which we went on an impressive run and truly began the title race which was in equal parts close and cruel. With this new team, the same isn’t going to happen. Agree with the poster who said they are waiting for Isaac and Kudus to do ANYTHING at all - Driver looked shaky as did Murphy and all the way ex-players are laughing at us to add insult to injury. I also felt that if ever there was a cast iron case for making half time substitutions then yesterday was it.

I’m now going to miss the next four games, but as things stand that is in physical presence alone, I won’t be ruing my absence. Management consortium - get this sorted as fans will vote with their feet.
