One word summarises the game for me: frustrating. There is definite talent in the team but we simply did not gel at all. HH were not much better. I had no clear view of the pen but can understand why Philpott wanted to take it. The lad deserves something after the Chelmsford game and I suppose he wanted to break his duck, however the kick was simply awful. I don't think the ref helped matters either it was not a particularly dirty game but I can't remember any recent similar games with as many bookings.

MoM for me was Daren for his save in the first half more than anything else. On to Concord and the need to prevent Wall or any other ex-Dart scoring.

I voted for Deren as well, good to see him back in form. I hadn't realised that Tom B. & Mark had been shown yellows, but the other two fully merited. Diving is awful & going by the lack of dissent about the decision from the fans behind the goal I assume it was the full Tom Daley, let's cut that out from our play. Lee may have even seen red, not the worst of fouls but it was very rash, some refs. might have chosen another colour, but definitely yellow. Tom Murphy may have played himself into the team, although Kudos may be fully fit by Tuesday.

Iam NOT watching the " highlights " there wasnt any , only relief when the Ref called full time and we got a point , upon reflection , we must have an out and out winger playing , Philpot [not defending him] is NOT a right winger he is a No 10 IF we need to keep 3 in centre midfield then its got to be 3 up front including a winger [ Greenhalgh , Murphy or Igahore ] who can score goals !!!!!!!

Dreadful game of football with neither side deserving much credit. Hemel looked the more dangerous but they couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo and we couldn't even find the banjo. The ref played his part in the debacle by awarding a ridiculous penalty after the ball clearly hit the guy smack on the chest. You know it's a bad call when the Dartford fans around me were all laughing at the decision. Whoever is taking our penalties should be decided BEFORE the game by the MANAGEMENT. Players squabbling over the ball is unprofessional and merely adds pressure to whoever ends up taking it. Defensively we look solid but I wonder where our goals are going to come from and I still think the Alex Wall thing is going to come back and bite us on the arse.

Positives.
7 points from 3 games. A clean sheet. Solid defense. Ben Greenhalgh is far and away the most impressive of all the new players.

MOTM: Tom Bonner
