I think we may see more a settled side this season, he may go out and get the players he wants early doors.

As long as Kingy stays the rest will fall into place imho.
His contacts and coaching will win us this league next year.
Yesterday was gutting but we will be even stronger for the experience.
COYDss!!

Best of luck and thanks to Billy. He did a pretty good job for us and I'm sure we all wish him well for the future.

It would certainly seem it was not Billy’s choice to leave . He is a very good player so hopefully Steve has one hell of a player coming in .

Billy's a decent player and a good passer of the ball. I'm sure he will be getting a few offers from clubs looking to sign him.
I suspect that there will be few players moving on over the next few weeks including a few surprise departures too. I'm sure that Steve King has a few irons in the fire.

John Paul Kissock left Whitehawk today where he was player and assistant, is he on his way to join Steve king again? Still only 30 and was in his Welling team but had to leave because of their wage cuts in 18/19.

I am expecting a number of good quality signings from SK, that will make our signings made last pre season pale into insignificance. Bold statement but the standard of player SK attracted when he took over whether all season or loan was excellent quality.
As I mentioned in another post, the player we had on loan from Aldershot (I think) who scored a great goal v Welling would be high on the list of potential new contracted signings. Would not be surprised at all if he could persuade Hyde to stay from Colchester. A season long loan deal or 2 from football league clubs could also happen.
Either way, it is clear that very good quality players will be signed and it is proof that Billy has gone (sure that is a Level 42 record) that we can expect very good acquisitions.
It’s all rather exciting, looking forward not back at the play off defeat.

Pretty sure Hyde was released by Colchester. Hopefully King can convince him to sign with us

The problem, Kebabus, will be funding these signings if, as seems very likely, we have to operate on gates of 600. Most clubs are planning significant budget cuts, unless they have wealthy owners who are willing to pay out their own money.
