A comfortable win in the end and it was good to see Bonner back in the team. I know that Hill will always nick you a goal but overall I would sooner see our best central defenders playing together. Apart from a couple of early scare's, with a very tight offside and handball shout Ronnie & Tom were in complete control of the game and should start together more often in my opinion.

I took the liberty of watching the game from the main stand and I thought we had the rub of the green with the referee for a change, on another day we could have finished with ten men with that dreadful ball out from our keeper, he is too eccentric for my liking and I will be happy to see the return of Smudger, if he is fighting fit. It was also good to see that Billy was drafted back in and as the game went on he put in some delightful through balls, that opened up our opponents. In the end I went for McQueen as my MoM as he always looked a threat on the break with his pace, I would say that he is almost back to the level where the league clubs were interested in him and if he carry's on I can see a bigger club coming in for him.

With Sam Blackman getting minutes down at Hythe, Nobes back in light training there will be competition for midfield places in the New Year and I haven't mentioned Luke Allen. 2020 looks to be a fine year ahead for the club and I can see us having a say in some of those games involving some of the play-off teams and I would not write us off gate crashing the party either.

There were rumblings going around yesterday that Smith may have an ACL injury. He was knocking about in the stands the other week, so I can’t imagine it’s a full ligament tear. Anyone able to substantiate this?

Not sure exactly what the injury is but i don't think he will be returning anytime soon as i heard he may need a scan.
Hope that's not the case as we have had more than our fair share of injuries this season.

Seeing Welling yesterday I don't think we be signing anymore of their players.
