Listening to the unbiased radio commentary from Twerton Park it didn't sound like we played at all badly.

MOTM Mendy for relegating himself to the supporters coach, only to be refused by Pardew (the driver) on grounds of attempting to bring hot food on board.
Re: Bath City (A) - Sat 30/11
I think that King should look at scrapping the 3-4-3 formation after that display. I'd like to see 4-4-2. We seemed to get roasted for pace at the back and we can't allow that to happen against Dulwich. Playing 3-4-3 what happens if one of the 3 centre halves gets injured? We never have any other centre halves to cover on the bench!? Also - hopefully we won't get Pardew as driver for Dulwich.

Perhaps if you give us your input as to what you think is going wrong on the pitch instead of baiting people with the usual predictable nonsense ,then people on here won’t feel the need to have a pop at you , but to be honest you really haven’t a clue have you?UpTheDarts wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 4:09 pm Some people on here seem more interested in having a pop at me, rather than question what is going wrong on the pitch? Most of the posts on here recently have been "unlucky" or "maybe a bad day"
How ambitions have fallen, from fighting at the top of the table to falling into mid table mediocrity. I guess that's enough for some fans on here though
Ambitions remain, we all want SK to succeed, and the early signs are promising, but recently he has been dealt with injuries to key players, with Luke Allen being the latest. We lose to a very good Bath City team who have pace in abundance and defend well, but if I recall, their goalkeeper still had to make at least three very good saves , and we also missed a penalty , so on another day who knows ? ”That’s Football” We are a team in transition (everyone knows that) with a new manager with new ideas, and who may I add, has got an impressive managerial record. So why everyone else can see the bigger picture and are keeping faith with our club, you continue to knock this club at every opportunity, and then wonder why people have a pop at you , what do you expect ?
NO MORE ????

Onwards and Upwards COYD.

While I agree with the underlying theme of your post Capricorn25, did the Bath keeper make three saves? I thought we only had one shot on target - Ronnie Vint’s header in the first half - which was tipped over the bar. Of course, it could very well be that I may have missed something a few minutes either side of half time whilst on refreshment duties...
Bath were pretty decent in fairness - their no.4 was like a carrot-topped Lee Noble and the no.10 was a cross between James Beattie and the Incredible Hulk. One to forget for us.

I can't believe the negative, doom and gloom posts on this thread. I don't see how things can be so rosy one day with Steve King recruited to build things at the club and the same people feel that one defeat makes another crisis. There are a number of key players out injured and the small squad has a number of new additions since Mr King took over - no surprise there - but things take time to gel. Also injuries have been such that players are playing out of position which doesn't help getting used to a new way of playing and the expectations of a new manager.
NEWS FLASH ALL teams lose matches sooner or later. We have a new manager with a great track record - NOW is the time to GET BEHIND HIM and the PLAYERS. Stop all the moaning and whinging!! I really think a section of the Darts supporters does not deserve the hard working and dedicated board that they have that have the club in their hearts and certainly don't deserve the loyalty, drive and desire from long standing players like Lee Noble, Tom Bonner, Ryan Hayes and Ronnie Vint - plus a large number who have gone before them - if they turned as quickly as some supporters regularly do they would have been long gone to pastures new. A supporter is someone who SUPPORTS the club - not someone who moans and decries disaster every time the team loses. In case you hadn't noticed things are on the up at the moment.

To be fair Taunton it's only the TROLL that's really posted any negative stuff and i can't believe people are still taking the bait.
Virtually everybody else has been supportive and appreciates the difficult position we are currently in with the injury situation and lack of options in certain positions.
We have already made good progress and when SK has the injured players back with a few additions i am really excited about the future.

Woah! Vast majority of fans on here completely on board the SK express, ignore the troll, not worth it. No one likes losing but in our predicament we can live with it, bumps in the road and all that. Keep the faith someone once saidTaunton Dart wrote: ↑Mon Dec 02, 2019 5:01 pm I can't believe the negative, doom and gloom posts on this thread.
