Arty, I, like you, will be totally behind the team when they take to the field today. We are where we are but as long as I see effort and commitment from the players I will be vocal in my support. I don’t wish Flanners and Coylie to fail but I’m yet to see ANY evidence that they have the where with all to motivate, manage and cajole this set of players into one that can compete for a play off place. Today would be a good day to start proving so many people wrong.Arthur Horsfield wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 7:24 amArthur here,
I have always stated that the forum in my opinion is the wrong media for some dreadful statements. On a lot of occasions unfair and on many occasions down right rude. For many years I simply read the forum along with so many more fans. But felt obliged, sometime ago, to at least try and stop the insults. I get many peoples viewpoint with the current situation, I think that the management will also get peoples viewpoint also down to the current situation, they will be no different. It isnt a great place we find ourselves and for many LWE may turn out to be the tipping point. I understand that some fans spoke to Luke who couldn't hide his disappointment and from what I am reading they believe he has been treated badly. I don't know, but today for me is about 90 minutes from 3 pm. What is done is done, but for those unhappy fans, let's maybe see what occurs. I have consistently said our role is supporters therein lies our responsibility I feel. Managers and the board have their own roles and I'm sure whatever is the best for DFC will be taken care of. So come on at 3 pm let's get behind them after all losing to a behind the scenes cheating club is not for me.

It’s a shame we are all feeling like this, since last weekend wasn’t a disaster, but it could’ve been avoided by not making yesterday’s unexplained decision. I was going to call it a bizarre decision, but there could be valid reasons behind it. If there are though, it’s a bizarre decision not to disclose those reasons.
Three points today would be a Pyrrhic victory.

Spike I read that at first as Arty I like you. Not as Arty I, like you. It goes to show the value of punctuation doesn't it.

Punctuation is important, but not as important as reading people's names properly.Arthur Horsfield wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2019 10:33 am Spike I read that at first as Arty I like you. Not as Arty I, like you. It goes to show the value of punctuation doesn't it.

But I do like you Arty. I particularly admire the way you manage to suppress your true feelings and stay positive in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary. It's an admirable trait, at least, it is until you get to a certain point.
