It was an entertaining game and we played very well. I thought the triallist left back looked good. Why can't we be told these guys names instead of just calling them triallists? I am very encouraged by what I'm seeing, my only concern is whether we are going to have the cutting edge up front so that our impressive approach play actually translates into goals. Overall though, we are a million miles ahead of where we were this time last year.

I have to agree with the comments so far as i also thought the trialist No.3 had a good game and linked up well with Luke who was easily our best player and created lots of good corners and crosses with one leading to the goal.
Shame about the equaliser but as has been mentioned already the second half was a mixture of players that meant we didn't dominate so much but the first half performance was very promising.

Good to hear that the left back on trial looked good- we need the cover there while Mark Onyemah is recovering. We should also soon hear whether the striker mentioned recently has succeeded in his trial with a League club or is still available.

Accidentally heard that the striker who might signing for us is on trial at Mansfield Town and it all depends on the managers budget because he has done well on tour.
Watch this space!

If that's right, his name is probably Joe Quigley!!

Well if it is Joe Quigley, it looks like Mansfield still haven't made a decision.

Just had a little look at Joe Quigley. If the stats are anything to go by then he’s hardly a prolific goal scorer - 25 goals from 133 appearances (across 13 different clubs). It might not be him that we’re looking at but if it is then personally I would pass.

I would say even a half decent striker would have been signed up by now, unless they have been trouble at other clubs and are finding it hard to find a club to take them on.
