Surely Sheringham and Pugh's fitness needs to be assessed?

I know what you mean re Mark and Billy, but they good players to have. What a dilemma for the managers.

Yep, fairly happy with that. Still plenty of room for quality, fresh, new blood. We will need it.

Lee Noble, Ryan Hayes, Ronnie Vint, Ben Greenhalgh and Andy Pugh - good signings so happy with that
Charlie Sheringham - i don't think he's really contributed much this season and doesn't hold the ball up like he use to, he reminds me of Gladstone Small when he jumps. I think therefore he's very fortunate to get a new deal and although I keep hearing he's been carrying an injury i'm surprised (like some other players) at the very least he hasn't had to come back pre season to assess his fitness and prove his worth
Tom Bonner - really hope he signs, the only negative would be his dad will be around slagging off some of the other players
Daniel Johnson - OMG really, he's slow and cumbersome and if his real position is centre half he was worse when he played there
Tom Murphy - Tom always gives his all but he's been at the club for a few years now and has never forced his way into the team. Why do they need another season to look at a player they know everything about already
Billy Crook - Did show some real potential last season so if he does come back and gets fit could be a good addition.
Callum Driver - Why? We have let go far better full backs than him, at his best he's bog average and if he's "the best right back in the divison" i'm slimmer of the year.
Mark Onyemah - I like Mark and hope he returns and proves his fitness as he played really well when he got back into the team just before he got injured.
Delano Sam-Yorke - Hallelujah he's gone, what a compete waste of space and money
Kudus Oyenuga - Gave his all but just never worked out.
Louis Wells - Helped us out at the end of the season with mixed performances but at his age not really a good signing for us now.
Jordan Wynter - Very steady player and wouldn't have minded if he had stayed.
Andre Coker - The show pony has gone, I bet he did twenty stepovers when he walked out the ground
Darren McQueen - Would not mind if Darren returned as we saw glimpses of his potential and think he could have been a good addition.

I agree that it would be good to have both Mark and Billy, Ozymandias, but Mark's knee problem, for instance, COULD mean surgery and a long recovery period. I can just hear the moans if we have a squad of eighteen, two of whom can't play for months. They are unlikely to leave for another club until their fitness is established.

The Duane Ofori Acheampong sage may well have influenced the decisions on injured players being offered terms. Money was spent on an operation for DOA with no return, just money down the drain. He didn't make much of an impact at Woking either, so the injury may have affected him quite badly. Any of the players mentioned may return to full fitness with or without operations, but any doubts the club may have are understandable given that recent experience.
