How the mighty have fallen!!
Sorry but the fact that Concord won last night does not change our position from Saturday night, its still in our hands and the negative comments about if we get beat how about if we win and the others lose for christ sakeThe 5th Searcher wrote:Concord are currently 3-1 up away to 10 man Truro in their re-arranged game putting them up to 7th place and knocking us down to 9th.
The play off’s are slipping away from us.
Final score was Truro 1 - 3 Concord.
Depending on how the scores go on Saturday, if we are not careful we could find ourselves down to 11th in the table.
If we get beat and both Wealdstone win at home to Dulwich and Slough win away to Oxford then they both go above us.
Let’s hope the boys are really fired up for the Eastbourne match and show what they can really do rather than show the drab performances of the last 3 matches.
Puzzling comment. Clearly the negativity is not doing it for you and that is understandable, however Concord's victory last night has not only shunted us down another place, so absolutely has changed our position from Saturday, but we are now relying on an extra set of results to go our way if we are to scrape into the playoffs lottery. That doesn't equate to things being in our hands.JCJ wrote:Sorry but the fact that Concord won last night does not change our position from Saturday night, its still in our hands and the negative comments about if we get beat how about if we win and the others lose for christ sakeThe 5th Searcher wrote:Concord are currently 3-1 up away to 10 man Truro in their re-arranged game putting them up to 7th place and knocking us down to 9th.

I do believe that if we win all our remaining games and as other teams are playing each other, we will be in the play-offs, is that not still in our handsDA Mikey wrote:Puzzling comment. JCJ I think you’ll find Concords win DOES change things from Saturday because we’ve now gone from 8th to 9th dropping once place so there is a change.JCJ wrote:Sorry but the fact that Concord won last night does not change our position from Saturday night, its still in our hands and the negative comments about if we get beat how about if we win and the others lose for christ sakeThe 5th Searcher wrote:Concord are currently 3-1 up away to 10 man Truro in their re-arranged game putting them up to 7th place and knocking us down to 9th.
