Retained List 2018/19 & New Signings
Re: Retained List 2018/19 & New Signings
Our best bet for a Ryan Hayes replacement I thought. Never looked as good as in the friendly against Millwall and we lost that one 5-0. Good luck to the boy though.

Triple whammy! I'm disappointed with one, indifferent about one and pleased at another.
As if there hadn't been enough changes to this club in summer, the door just keeps revolving!

I do NOT believe that you can build a successful promotion winning team with several loanees in however good they are , unless they are on a non call back season loan . I was very pro the Jamie Coyle appointment but he did this at Welling last season and they failed to get into the play offs , De Ja Vue ???
We need to sign quality players on a permanent basis that as Noble/Bradbrook/Hayes/Harris did for many years become a REAL part of Dartford F C !!!!!!!!!

No need to worry about fighting for your place as a Dartford player these days. Either play or you can go. The art of good management, keeping everyone on board and interested playing or not.
With no healthy competition for places I don't see where this club is going at the moment.
Maybe the revolving door will eventually have to be widened

Instinctively I agree with Duke about the number of loan players- three at the moment and with the possibility of Knowles returning. As I have said before there is the further complication of having to change the team for cup ties if the loan players' clubs do not want them cup-tied.

The problem is that with quality loanees in we could well go on a nice 4/5 unbeaten run and then suddenly a couple are recalled and we are back to square one with players [ who previously were benched] getting a start and continuity goes to pot !!!!!!!!
Some previous loanees have been " God sends " but we have also had our share of the "couldnt give a f... brigade " , no need to name them as we all know who they were !!!!!!!!!

Nothing like a 'good personal relationship' Bye. I do wonder re our joint managers.
Still, the revolving doors will soon need a good oiling.

I'm sorry we are losing Billy Roast. I thought he was a very promising member of the squad. I didn't see enough of Simon M or Manny I , but in the short spells they played in games I attended I was not really impressed.
