Surprised that we have signed Charlie Sheringham, if only for a month, as he is not a team player and will not graft which is exactly what we need at present.

Sorry I’ve missed it somewhere but where does it say about signing Charlie for just a month? The players news on the OS said that Knowles was signed on an initial months loan, along with Alfie going to Leatherhead for an initial month but no time period for Charlie

BTW, the same could be said for that Concord striker that cannot be named

I believe Charlie has signed a contact and on today's performance will be a welcome addition.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but I have to say that I think this post is ill informed and unfair. Charlie's signed for the rest of the season, not a month, I suspect he could earn more money playing elsewhere and the last time we had him he worked his socks off for us.

As for the "grapevine", well some grapes make champagne and others end up for £3.99 in Lidl.

Not being pedantic or anything but not sure how you reach that conclusion. As far as I can see there is very little information on him. French player who started at Le Havre 11 and was picked up by Southend in 2016 for which he only played 5 matches. Wish him the best of luck but a bit of an unknown . Fingers crossed

Statement of intent though isn’t it? Things have been going wrong and players signed have not performed, so this is a clear message, play in the shirt with guts and pride or you’re not playing!

Really hope that we can start a winning run and climb the league, it is not too late to have something special to celebrate come the end of the season.
