I believe we have the resources and management team to achieve greatness. Need to do it though, time to deliver without a penalty shootout. Let’s go Dartford, let’s go!
And I remember a very good John Still team during the 80s winning the Southern League and then achieving our best ever Conference finish of third. What a player that Terry Sullivan was. Also not forgetting TBs team that won the Isthmian League by a country mile with six games to spare. Never saw the 73-74 team so can’t comment on its excellence…

73/74, i have absolutely no recollection of the final at Wembley

The Peter Taylor and John Still teams were great and really enjoyed those years but i also have great memories under TB the best being when we finished 8th in the National League.

We were only part time and having a laugh

Ah, Skip. Now you are talking. Terry Sullivan. He takes pride of place on my Dart's best team T shirt. Used to frighten defences rigid.
But yes, we lost the 73-74 Trophy but what a team that was.
Did anyone see the article in the NLP this week. Neil Cugley AND Graham Carr. I first saw GC at Darenth Park Hospital at training and I thought 'What the f***!' He looked overweight and so unfit. What a dream that guy was at the back for us. Magnificent.

I see Alex Woodyard was doing his impression of Luka Modric.

Woodyard played a lot of pretty , tappy tappy stuff in his own half and occasionally 10 yards into our half but was ineffective in creating anything and didnt impress me one iota !
Luka Modric was a great player !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Luka Modric still is a great player Duke, but I was thinking more in looks than his football skills.
