Reg has started early today on the vino.
I'm putting up a Hymn to celebrate the messiah, the second coming. We look forward to the forthcoming season knowing we are in the presence of our Saviour.

For a moment I thought you were going to suggest SK has found the cure for Covid-19 Reg.

The greatest compliment I can pay Steve King is that he had Noble on the bench for most of last season and it wasn't perceived as madness, such was the improvement in our play and such is the quality of the players he has brought to the club. Nobes had been consistently our best player for the previous 4 or 5 seasons and is surely one of the greatest EVER to play for the Darts. Had he been left out by Flanners & Coyley they would have been chased out of town by crowds with flaming torches and pitchforks, although admittedly we were getting close to that happening anyway.
Personally, I would be delighted if Nobes re-signs for us because I love the guy for all he's done for us, I love watching him play, he still has the energy levels of a 16 year old and I still believe he could be a massive asset. But I accept that Steve King is a much better manager than I'll ever be and I have complete faith that everything he's doing is for the best, so if Nobes isn't here it will probably only be because we have someone even better.
Exciting time to be a Dartford fan, I am champing at the bit for the new season to start.

I see the purple away kit has just been reduced down to £20.00 so it looks like we will be getting a new way kit after all . Had heard it might not happen this year and change both kits next year to go with a new kit supplier.

Non-League Paper website saying the delayed non-league finals day at Wembley on 27th Sept will be part of pilot programme to allow spectators in. Trophy includes Concord and the Vase includes Corinthian, who both reached semi-final stage before lockdown. Semis to be redrawn for one-leg only game, before both finals take place.
Elsewhere it says steps 3-6 below NLS/NLN level will allow 30% capacity crowds from Monday, presumably for friendlies until new season starts.
Steady steps in the right direction.

I really wonder how the non league finals day will work from a playing staff point of view. e.g Can Sam Blackman now play in last years competition even though he was a DFC player last year. Sam is just an example of the query
