Whilst Welling were an abject apology for a football team we did play well with quality all over the pitch. Billy Crooks is playing the best football I have seen from him since he arrived, in fact the whole midfield looks strong and I think that when our injured players return they might have to wait before they get a game. The same has to be said for our keeper. However, I just don't get Liburd - he's a big lad but seems to be incapable of jumping and is almost immobile - if he showed half the energy and aggression of Romain he would be a useful addition to the squad.
MoM to Elliot again, not just for his goals but for getting up and down the pitch, always demanding the ball and constantly bullying the centre halves.
10 goals in three games? We are unrecognisable.

My first visit to PP this season and very impressed with what i saw. Some hungry, quick players, who were always looking for the ball. 10 goals scored, none conceded and maximum points over the festive period. Doesn't come much better than that.

Bus Stop F.C. The gift that keeps on giving. Three terrific performances from the Darts this festive season. With Tonbridge holding Maidscum to (another) 2-2 puts us in the play-offs and not Maidscum.
Watching Dartford FC is a joy. Long may it last.

Dartford v Welling Mon 1 Jan 2018 FT 4-1 Att 1640

Look it's easy to get carried away. The fixtures have been good. But we I hope can all see where DFC are heading.
Remember this is just the start. Feet on the ground but enjoy the ride coming.

I tell you what SK is class, if he had a full season rather than a half season we would be top of the shop at Christmas!
I know you can only beat what’s In front of you but we have gone about our business very well.

In the playoffs yes others have games in hand, but we have also managed to pull around the negative goal difference we had!

Another really enjoyable game and very good performance.
We were just too good for Welling all over the pitch and could easily have had a few more.
Can't think of any player that didn't put in a good performance but MOTM for me Elliot (again).

It's been a very good Christmas and New Year but i think we should wait until the end of January when we have played some of the top teams to see how much we have improved and what our expectations for this season should be.

Have we ever had a better return from our festive fixtures? 3 wins, 9 points and a 10-0 goal tally ... Wow!

I'll try not to get carried away, but I am having such a bloody marvellous time watching the football again and nobody can deny that the Darts have been on a huge upward curve since Steve King arrived. The team has pace all over the place and we look scary every time we go forward. Elliott Romain is the best centre-forward I've seen in a Darts' shirt since Cody Mac and to be honest, whilst Cody was an incredible goal-scorer, Elliott contributes in so many additional ways that his all-round contribution to the cause is arguably even better. I absolutely love this guy. That said, it's not all about Elliott as almost everyone played their part today. I thought Billy Crook had an exceptional game today and he would have been my MOTM were it not for superman up front. Liburd is a strange one though, whenever he's out there he just doesn't seem to have any impact on the game whatsoever. SK doesn't get many things wrong, so maybe he's ring rusty or coming back from injury or something, I don't know, but he needs to be a lot better than what we've seen so far if he's to stand any chance of getting in ahead of the other players in the squad.

We are playing some very nice passing football now and there were times today when Welling just couldn't get hold of the ball. That's great to watch, but the thing that impresses me most of all is the athleticism that we now seem to have in the team. It's explosive and we just look so lively when we break with the ball. Steve King is in a great position. His only brief was to keep us up and steady the ship. He has achieved that already and we are now a decent side that's fun to watch. There is no expectation to make the play-offs this year and at this stage I'm just so happy to be enjoying the football again. Anything else would be an unexpected bonus.

Good interview, very level headed. It's a shame that Liam has had to go back. I guess that was always on the cards after Peter Taylor's departure.
