Hoodoo broken - hadn't seen a league win at PP since Phil Roberts scored that screamer against Gloucester back in March, so thank boobies for that.
Gave my MOTM to Wanadinio as although he lost possession a couple of times, his drive and speed were enough to exhaust Billericay in the first half alone. Honourable mentions to brace-scorer Romain and Tyrique Hyde.

It's looking pretty good under King, especially given the extenuating injury situation in which the club finds itself at the moment. It seems likely that he will only improve results given some realistic team stability.

As an aside, shame that all the bars were unavailable after the game, but understand that the fixture was rearranged. Was good to get over 1,000 through the turnstiles which would have been halved if the game went ahead on Tuesday in the awful conditions.

First time I've seen Sesay play - was this actually his first ever start for us? He put in a good performance - one very good save early in the first half - and his distribution was also good. Nothing he could have done about the two goals.
No wonder we rose to 12th place: I didn't realise that, today being an FA Trophy day, there would be no other games in our league.
I wasn't sure which player was Hyde and which was Liburd. If one of them was No 8, I thought he put in a more than halfway decent shift.

a well deserved win with lots of pace going forward, thought hyde stood out for me looks really solid and good passer which we needed in midfield, with the way the team is starting to look some of our favorites may not get in when they do recover from injuries.
sk has brought a smile back to pp and may it continue. :D :D

we played some nice football and got the points. Are there any updates on Sheringham, Noble and Varney are they likely to be available for the Christmas/New year fixtures?

Heard a rumour that there may have been some unrest in the Gibbons camp, thought I’d leave it until someone brought the subject up..
As for Smith, he was in the stands yesterday. Don’t think his injury is too bad.

Seriously hard work trying to keep up to speed with the squad this season!

I'm really enjoying watching us play under SK. Long may it continue
Compared with recent seasons our pace going forward is electrifying. And attacking with pace was what it was all about from both sides yesterday.
Which was why I was relieved to see a frustrated Jamie O'Hara enter the fray towards the end of the game.
With the Tottenham old boy resorting to playing long balls from the back I knew we would hold out for the win!

The first half performance alone was worth the money and we should have been out of sight. Could have gone in 4 up. But Billericay came out all guns blazing and silly mistakes cost us. I liked the look of Hyde but him and Billy faded in midfield and lost it.
Jordan's game was very good but I felt he didn't need to touch the guy in the box to concede the penalty, but what speed that winger had, he must have been murder to try and mark.
Sesay was unlucky with the first after making the initial save the ball fell to the fastest guy on the pitch. Excellent save soon after Riccay got their first too. Both Hyde and Liburd did very well and the booking of Hyde was unbelievable, he won the ball and the No2 made a meal of it.
A very good, entertaining game indeed. Toss up between 4 or 5 players, Elliot scored his second from a very tight angle and has become our top scorer after only a handful of games (not hard to do) but for me Darren wins my MOTM he seems to have found a new lease of life under SK.

Who's Varney?

I heard that Gibbons was injured. No Wabo yesterday either and Mendy seems to have departed. No official news from the club (but that's no shock!)
