Very good player but it looks like he doesn't fit in with SKs
Plans. We were told that there would be changes and this might only be the start.
But Good luck to Ben at Tonbrige.

Ben was probably Jamie and Adam's best signing, but we've appointed Steve King to do a job and we have to trust him to get on with it. He will have his own ideas and his own style and he has proven time and again that he knows what he's doing. Most fans wanted a fresh approach so if that means some our personal favourites are moved on then we'll just have to suck it up. I'm expecting a few more departures but in the end I trust King will put a smile on our faces.

I am sorry to see him leave, even if not as yet permanently. He was voted the player-of-the-month only in September, so it is not surprising that some fans are very disappointed. Come to that, October's player isn't starting at the moment!
I do hope that Ben's work with the Academy will continue. It's a separate arrangement so presumably there is no reason why it shouldn't.

Tonbridge 12th Man fans fund paying Ben's wages.
Some one had to go so another player could come in.

Ben is a good player with a cracking left foot but he obviously is not part of SKs plans.
When he was subbed in the Kingstonian game(I think)
The writing was on the wall
Players come and go and as someone has already said ...There will probably be a few more yet
Watch this space!

Like Spike says and I said previous, Fans favourites may have to make way. I can see a few more going too, but Steve had to do something to stop the rot.
I did question Steve as a 'billy big bollocks' but a lot on here wanted him. I now am fully on board with the King revolution and now am expecting more. I feel sure he's not going to disappoint. I go away and come back to us halfway up the table. Long may it continue.

When Ben is good he's very good. When he's bad he's awful and couldn't even get in the Welsh Tavern team

Perhaps telling that Ben was not recalled with all the injuries and illnesses (although maybe the sick bug came too late), but I see he didn't play for Tonbridge on Saturday, so he won't be cup-tied.
However, after being hauled off against Kingstonian, I think he is unlikely to be wanted back.
