I believe those who fear that King will lead us astray financially are worrying unnecessarily because our board are too savvy to allow this to happen. Our club has already been resurrected from extinction once, and us older fans know that sensible budgeting and safeguarding the future is ALWAYS our number one priority. If the new manager comes back in a few months, demanding more than the club can afford then the board must simply say no and the fans will back them to the hilt. It's a smart move from the board because whatever happens, they can't be accused of not going for it. The people who felt that Flanners & Coyley didn't constitute the change they had called for will also be happy as King will bring the completely new and fresh approach that they wanted.

Off the field our club has been doing brilliantly and gates have held up well despite the disappointment on the pitch. Imagine what will happen if we start winning again.

I'm expecting a lot of upheaval and changes, but there's no doubt that the prospects are exciting.
