To many individual errors today that led to their goals, I didn’t think the substitutions had any affect and we lacked tactical nous up front, and when good chances did fall to Luke and Darren they weren’t ruthless enough in the challenge IMO, but overall it wasn’t good enough today ,but we carry on regardless

Also, the idiot select few fans behind the goal abusing the players at the full time whistle - that is not the way to go and will not help things in the slightest.

I’m not sure who was being abused at the end of the game except for the Slough keeper who was a total moron with his over the top celebration and goading of the fans behind the goal.
He didn’t receive any real stick at all during the game and for him to then celebrate the way he did made him look very stupid.

Anyway on to the rest of the game. First half I thought we looked excellent and played some of the best football I’ve seen us play this season with Charlie looking very sharp. For me I was really pleased when we signed Darren McQueen as I thought he was going to cause the oppositions defence no end of problems as he did on loan last season but so far he’s been a real let down imo, he hasn’t really done anything at all and certainly hasn’t caused defences problems. I think his goal today was certainly more luck than anything.
Ryno and Luke on the wings didn’t have the greatest of games either, with both putting in some very poor crosses. Luke looks dangerous coming forward and attacking players but his end product a lot of the time is non existent, certainly at the moment anyway.

Rob Howard seemed to be having a great game with some superb tackles being made, unfortunately I think Slough’s 1st goal came from his side. I like Alex Flisher as a player but have to agree he is definitely not a fullback, he is getting caught out far to often down that left side which is then leaving us exposed.
Although I don’t think Luke tends to drop back and help cover much either.
Adam Cunnington just isn’t doing it for me at the moment, he is a good player but I’m really struggling to see where his goals are going to come from as all he seems to do is flick ons with nobody picking them up, either that or he loses the ball and then moans.
For a guy that has scored so many goals over the years I’m struggling to see one from him at the moment.

Norman Wabo to me today looked very disinterested and almost lost, he has been a good player to come off the bench and has got a very good turn of pace but we just didn’t see any of that today.

Young Brodie looks a decent player and had quite a good game, he’s what I call a simple player in which I mean he always seems to do the simple stuff, plays that simple & easy ball and generally does the basic business on the pitch which is good. He will struggle to get in once Nobes & Luke are both back but he’s a good lad to have on the bench and will do a job for you.

It was a very frustrating game today to go from playing some good football first half and being 2-0 up to then concede straight away and virtually fall apart in the 2nd half to then lose 2-3. I’m sure Tony had some stern words to say afterwards and will get them fired up again for the FA Cup match next week before he looks to hand over the managerial reigns to whoever is to be our new manager.

Time to start and rebuild again, things have certainly improved over the last few weeks since Tony & Skip have been in charge again and ok yes we did throw it away and lost today but it’s still no where near as bad as what we had been facing at the beginning of this season.

As Parklife says Keep The Faith.

i thought we were playing alright up to 2-0 ,ball on the ground passing it around then the killer punch of there goal knocked all of the confidence out of them, slough came out second half and took over especially down the left side where we didnt have a proper left back and at times looked totally out of position.

reading pedro comment he says tb has one more game left how does he knows that.

According to the reporter from Radio Kent Charles Webster our new manager will be in place for the visit to Oxford City, so that gives TB one more game in charge. Charles Webster seemed to hint at the name Bradley Quinton? Back to yesterdays game we played some nice football first half against a decent Slough team but every time we lost the ball they broke quickly and seemed to score. Their number 8 with the girly hairstyle looked a very good player. Please new manager get a fullback and give Flisher a chance in his proper position.

At half time I said to a mate that the next goal would be crucial, unfortunately I got it right for once.
I thought that we played well in the 1st half but lost our way after the interval.
I agree that we need a left back, I like Flisher but he is not a full back.
I thought that Slough were very good going forward, they are a not a tall side but unfortunately we did not take advantage of their lack of inches.
But even though we lost there are signs of improvement
and I am confident that we will soon start climbing the league. There is light at the end of the tunnel!!

Interviews I was told on 7th and 8th October and Tony is away at his sons wedding.

At least we went up one place on goal difference, but there's a gap to mid table security developing. As others have said, we played very well and confidently in the first half, but fell away against a useful side, who didn't panic going behind and kept playing patient football, and who took their goals well. Sadly the substitutions didn't work and we soon lost shape and heart.
