A bit too far for me, I'm afraid (besides which I also passed that way on the way to Peignton for my holiday last month and the traffic was horrendous -bloody smart motorway roadworks!).

Although we’ve reached the first round proper in five out of the last nine seasons, the Darts have also made heavy weather of lower league opponents recently - Tom Murphy had to come off the bench to save us against Uckfield last season, we’ve also needed to bring Burgess Hill, Lowestoft and Leiston back to PP to progress and three years ago we were ousted by Uxbridge. Nothing is a given!

It would be nice, though, if what was given was a home draw!

That means only one home game in October unless we draw or get a home draw on the 19th if we get through.

Blackfield & Langley won the Southern Division One title last season at the first time of asking. They took the Wessex Premier title the year before with 100 points and 118 goals. Currently sixth in the Southern Premier Central so it won’t be easy.

Only a 25 minute drive for me so see you there!
