Another point on the board against a strong side. Onto Monday which will no doubt be another tough game.

First half was pretty even but second half they dominated and look a good team so to get a point at the end was a decent effort.
We lost the middle of the park but hopefully with the return of Lee Noble and Billy Crook this will improve things.
Substituting Adam Cunnington was a big mistake (again) as he was our only real threat.
The wide players for the second game running are not getting any quality into the box so i'll leave you all to work out who should be playing......
MOTM for me between Josh Hill and Adam Cunnington.

First half we did ok.
The 2nd half was like the alamo.
We defended well but we're completely outplayed by a good side.
Why take Cunnington off???
Apart from Wannadio's mazey run we never looked like troubling H&W.
Early days but so far it has been hard work hanging on for a point in both of our home games

Cunnington M.O.M. the same complaints as the last game though no one there to feed off of his headers and flicks, let Pughie have a go along side him please and Wabo is no right winger for me no crosses coming in so I will say yes to Park Life's

suggestion and get that man off of the bench please we know that he can put in those crosses.
It's just the name that escapes me Steve

Otherwise it is a point against one of the promotion contenders but we do have to create and take more chances as we need wins at home and pick up the draws away where possible.

Clueless managers with their subs away to Wealdstone taking off Luke Allen ....clueless managers against St Albans no Hayes no hope ....clueless managers today when Dartford hope for a point against title favourites h and w ...no Hayes again and subbed Adam C again ...well welcome to a relegation battle ...good knows what TB must be thinking !!!!!! Years ago we would have put teams like this to the sword and Ryan would have crucified their number 3 ...I guess those days are gone !!!!!!!!!

Wow. This is the view from Arty who has admittedly had a light ale or 20. DFC have sourced a marvellous squad. A massively difficult early fixture list. Played really well for long periods today. Cant wait for the macca cunnington combination. Top players. Dont forget Andrew Pugh. Norman giving his all . Let's hang on in till the managers have their setup back. Personally in RV we have 3 top centre halves it's just the ownership of the Jersey at the moment. But hang on in their as your one of our own loved by us all. Josh and Tom are great players as are you. Just they currently hold the positions.

It was a bit like the Good, the Bad & the Ugly today!
The Ugly. Have to agree with what has already been said, that is now 180 minutes of home football without a cross coming over into the box, which is absolutely shocking. For the life of me I just can't get my head around this and the longer this goes on the more pressure will be placed on the managers because the alternative will only get them a step closer to the door. Once again, Luke Allen was working on his own in the middle and the wingers put in another shocking display. Ben didn't look good in the middle on Tuesday and looks no better on the right hand side. In my mind, he can only play on the left wing but I think that you will find that Luke W will probably be bombproof with one of our managers. He does not look the same player since his return, maybe that is why he has had hard times elsewhere.
The Good. It was not all doom and gloom, the goal from Adam was as good as you will see from a forward at this level. As the ball was floated in he was second best and just managed to somehow get his head down low and around their defender to make perfect contact with the ball. I can't remember a Dartford player scoring this kind of goal for a few seasons, it really was a class finish. Other stand performances were, Luke WE, Josh H, Tom B and Luke Allen, who has been working on his own in the middle of the park. We desperately need Noble or Billy to partner him.
The Bad. Once again, the game was spoiled by the muddled thinking off the pitch. I was going to give our managers 10 games before passing judgement but I can't get my head around some of the thinking behind the team selection, substitutions & playing players our of their natural position. In short, I just don't have any confidence in them, even though they have clearly one of the bigger budgets in this division. Perhaps they need to be renamed the muddled brothers! Clearly one of them ain't thinking straight.
