I thought we looked superb tonight and will only get better the more the boys get used to playing together

A great performance. For one hour we totally outclassed them. Admittedly I think everyone should be taking the 3/1 that Ebbsfleet are relegated

I thought we looked the better side for most of the match, and certainly the most dangerous. But we lost our way a bit in the last 20 minutes or so. - Result of substitutions or tired legs? Shame about the cock-up for the undeserved equaliser.

I don't think the Fleet caused us many problems until the second half and the mass substitutions disrupted the flow of the game, but that's the nature of pre-season games you only get a serious game for the first 45 minutes then it becomes a glorified training session. Josh Hill looked solid at the back but I think it was his mistake that gifted the Fleet their micky mouse equaliser, but if you have got to make a mistake do it now in the friendlies and not against Wealdstone. Luke Wanadio looked easily the best player on the pitch. The trialist in the number 3 shirt looked solid enough shame he wasn't given more of the ball. A decent crowd and to their credit Ebbsfleet were well supported but I suspect they are in for along hard season in the National League.
