It's not simple, it's difficult.
I can't speak for everyone else, but I don't play Football Manager.
It's not possible for any of us to get out there and do better because the board haven't appointed us as manager.
If they ever did I think most, if not all, of us would be terrible at it, not that this is in any way relevant.
It is perfectly valid to have an opinion about whether someone is doing a good job without having to do the job yourself.
I agree it's easy to "say this and that" and this forum is exactly the right place to do so. I hope people will be thissing and thatting all of next season.
As yet, nobody has EVER said "yeah they have been brilliant" or had reason to do so, but if they ever are brilliant then it would be churlish not to come on here and say so.
Your last sentence lost me a bit, but I agree we owe our board a hell of a lot and I will be forever grateful, even if I occasionally disagree with some of their decisions.
However, I have already said my piece so whatever and wherever we are, next season is a new beginning and I'm definitely up for the COYD bit.

As I say, I'm only expressing an opinion. If Bonner stays I will be happy. I'm sure he will stay. So why are you getting so stressed. I don't think the two managers are adventurous/exciting enough to think too far outside of PP to ratchet up a challenge next year. I hope they prove me wrong.
Yes, the board are doing a great job by keeping the club working, but I'm not talking about the board.
And, what is Football Manager?
I am sure players are heading for the door just cos Ozy has voiced his opinion.

Here goes........
Most of the time (and at every game) Arthur's pissed, talks nonsense and then denies everything.
The rest of the time when he is sober he does the same thing.

I think that this is the most honest and truthful comment that I have ever read on this forum!!

I'm not really surprised by any of those decisions. There are clearly doubts about the fitness of those who were injured at the end of the season and it would have been wrong to offer contracts to, for example, Mark or Billy, only for them to be out for months if they require surgery.
Personally I hope Tom Bonner does sign, but feel less sure about Dan Johnson.

I'm not sure Tom Murphy will be too happy being invited back for pre-season 2 x years running, he's not injured??
Surely they must know what he's capable of by now??
