Typical 1sr preseason game nothing dramatic [ as expected ] but I like the look of the No7 [ igahore] who played wide right , had great pace and put in a few great crosses , no background on him , a couple of the other trialists looked useful !!

Not sure what can be learned from these type of games. The only positive I could see was that Alex Wall still has what it takes, if he gets 100% match fit I firmly believe he will be our numer one forward. There was a massive difference of quality between the two sides and some of our players were clearly carrying some extra timber.

It amazes me that friendlies such as Hastings Vrs Hastings Under 23 were being held. Great for the lads all round, but on a hot day like Saturday and knowing that England were playing, what was the matter with playing in the evening?
In our case, we brought the game forward. If we had agreed to an evening game we probably would have got more thru the gate.
