10 men, they only need 10 men!!. I hope that Torquay don't go down to 9 men or we could really be in trouble!!

This was always going to be a tough fixture and it is difficult to think of a worse game to lose both Lee and Elliot to suspension. I did begin to feel it might be our day when they had a man sent off so early. Safe journey home to the 64 darts fans.

Arrived home a little while ago after an amazingly traffic free return journey, although it's been p***ing it down all the way home. It wasn't one of our better performances, but considering we had so many key players absent, it wasn't anywhere near our worst either. Torquay are a very good side, even with a man short they pressed us relentlessly and forced us into errors. They have some very good players and are quick on the break. They are considerably better than Woking and I will be astonished if they don't end up as champions. If we'd had our best eleven out there then maybe we'd have got something, but I don't think we should beat ourselves up over this one. My MOTM was Jordan Wynter, who I felt had an excellent game in the centre of the park.

Agree although not at the game today, I was impressed with Torquay when we played them at home. IMO the best team in the league and should be champions pretty comfortably.

For us we now need to try to get into those higher play off places, despite defeat today third place is attainable.

To be honest Torquay were probably in no mood to be in this division for more than one season,. Having said that, they didn't expect to be in non-league football long neither, with their big bollock attitude when they first dropped out of the League. But fair due to them, since getting Johnson as manager they haven't exactly sat back and felt sorry for themselves.
Unlike Harry I felt we could have been 3 up at home to them before they got their act together. Probably are the best team in this league as Woking were shite at PP.
When I saw that they were down to 10 men felt we might have done them, little knowing that it was 0-0 when they had a player sent off. Too many players out for us. No offence to Joe but really when you lose Elliot and Lee from midfield it was always going to be a big ask.
I on the other hand, thought for once, that I would go and see Herne Bay after 21 years of living on their doorstep. Turned up at 2.30pm to find it was half time, it being at home to Guernsey. Apparently their away games are all 1pm or as yesterday 1.30pm kick off's. (believe there was a delay on the A2 also). It was 2-2, I'd missed all four, and I stood and watched 45 minutes of crap in next to gale force winds.
Couldn't make it up.
