Steve King did his usual, a message to his own Supporters that the loss was down to everything other than him, that he understood the difficulties for the Referee making poor decisions, because the support staff on the lines were far too young to raise a flag !. For me, Flans interview was very honest and measured. Acknowledging the task in hand in attaining a settled balance, and the possibility that a permanent, rather than loan signing for midfield, is in his considerations.
Ronnie deserved his goal, but for overall influence on the game, and how we remained in it, for me it was Lee once again. Every action meaningful, whether in attack, defence, or sheer entertainment (and menace !)
We are still a long way from having eleven Players performing as a like minded unit of togetherness, but we remain in the frame.

Not a great game but very important we got the victory which was down to the fact defensively we are still well organised and all the while you are still in the game you may get a chance at the other end (which Ronnie took superbly

).
However going forward we rarely create anything from open play and our best chance to score is through a set piece. I can only recall two decent chances all game which was Charlie's in the first half (although i though he handled it) and Lee's in the second when Ben made a great run down the left.
Team selection again left me scratching my head as Roberts looks match rusty and IMO Coker will create/score very little, the other two wingers sitting on the bench must be scratching their heads as to why they aren't playing as i believe either would offer more. It must have been the easiest decision ever to substitute these two and something that even both our managers must have agreed on, however they were about 70 and 80 minutes too late........
Charlie worked hard virtually on his own and was only really supported by Ben, Bradders and all the lads at the back did well but Nobes MOTM for me.
Missed the Steve King interview and he can say what he likes but they have only won one of their last six league games (and we know who that was against!!).

Really good performances from the centre backs in particular. Always brave and strong and you know Ronnies taken a whack if he stays down as he is as tough as anyone.
In terms of quality and playing football while others around him are all long balls Lee Noble is an easy choice for man of match. Top quality again Lee.
