Femi always looked a good player when he was with us previously as a youngster but didn’t always get the chances.
He went away and gained a lot more non league experience before going in to league football where he seems to be doing ok.
Should be a very good signing, welcome back Femi.

Now there's a goal celebration! Watch his first goal, he runs to the burger van and realising he hasn't got any money on him he decides to kiss the lino. BrilliantPark Life wrote: ↑Thu Jan 07, 2021 11:03 pm Just found this on youtube:-

What is a surprise to me is that Femi is still only 24 years old because he seems to have been around for ages! Which is of course right, because he originally joined the Darts academy back in 2013.
His time at Stevenage has been mainly on the bench with a handful of starts, so I'm sure he will be relishing the opportunity to get some full games under his belt. It might take a few games to get to full match fitness, and I'm sure he will feel very much at home back with the Darts. He was only a youngster when he left, so hopefully he has picked up some useful experience in recent years.
Welcome back Femi.

Yep always great to see ex academy lads given the opportunity at DFC even if they have to go the "long way round" via other clubs.
Hopefully Femi can start to score regularly, I also believe that once Elliott gets a goal or two he will be back to full confidence, I think he scored around 20 goals last year before lockdown.
Will be an interesting selection with Femi, Jack, Elliott and Dicko our current four with Charlie at Chelmo (who is a proven goalscorer at this level)
We could go with one up or any two from four developing a partnership.
I honestly believe we have to many good players for our partial goal drought to be anything other than a temporary blip. I do think at some point soon we give a team an absolute hiding !

Stevenage's sponsors are Burger King, hopefully Femi hasn't been trying too many of their offerings during his stay. Did he get a discount, or more importantly has he still go it? If so The Whoppers are on Femi.

Our next 2 games are against 2 of Femi's former clubs nothing like scoring against your ex club.
