Jay May scored for Ashford in their play-off semi final. And Rory McAuley scored for King Lynn in theirs. Always liked Rory.
Brighouse won their promotion play-off Final and didn't get promoted because of an utterly stupid rule/law. What was the point in letting them play it??
And as for the farce that was the play-off semi finals of the God knows what glue West/East/Premier. What was that all about?

Not a happy end to Ebou Adam's season, late pay again and now available on a free transfer despite having a contract for next season. He chose Ebbsfleet over extending his deal at Leyton Orient as he felt he was joining a club going places. They certainly seem to be, but not where he was hoping, meanwhile Orient are promoted and have a Wembley final to look forward to on Sunday. A crystal ball would be handy when a player maps out his career and hopefully Ebou will find himself a good club to continue his career with.
Also on Sunday at Wembley Tommy Osbourne will be there with his Cray Valley team, not sure of his exact position there, but if anyone deserves such a day surely Tommy fits the bill.

& Deren Ibrahim got a name in the BT Sport commentary for deputising for Andy Walker in the semis. Hard luck Cray, but it must have been a tremendous experience for them, for players, staff, those who run the club & how good must those who have been regular supporters before the 'big time' arrived have felt, they will be back behind the team come August for sure. Congratulations to Chertsey Town.
