Well, for my pennyworth, it wasn't that long ago that some on here were asking how long it would be before SK lasted at Welling because it was well known he didn't stay at clubs long. Whether through his or the clubs decision. Also players turn over at those clubs were vast and it would sometimes end because of the money he threw at players.
Whether any of that is true or just conjecture I/we do not know, but as noticed he is taking a lot of interest in the situation at the club.
It’s a really fair point.
However as someone has stated before he could only spend what the board allow him.
He could throw what he likes the board will decide.
No doubting his credentials and record.

Where has this story come from that TB has only one match left? Is it true or is it just fake news?

I read it on here. Something announced in press I think. That’s all I know.

I think that if the fans favourite, Steve King, was to get the job then we could certainly expect an awful lot of player arrivals and departures.
I'm still not convinced though that our Board will be "brave" enough to make such a bold appointment. Time will tell!

I just checked on Radio Kent, it's still 0-0 at Moor Green.

We all want the Board to deliver what is best for the Club and it's further development.
While the credibility of sustaining non League football Clubs has been pretty unreliable, at our level of the Game, Dartford Football Club has a strong Foundation and base. However, and with whom, the Club choose, we are in an unbalanced 'race' up the ladder, but with a better chance than most .
Obviously, the Interviews and subsequent decision making, will be generally beyond our knowledge, but it seems we have a number of Applicants, and therefore, choice. Interesting times.

One of Steve King's greatest strengths is said by his supporters to be his ability to recruit good players. I share the concerns expressed by others about the extent to which he would be able to change the squad, arriving as he would be well into the season. I have no inside knowledge about the number of players we have on season-long contracts, but get the impression that there are more this season than last. Other clubs, including our near neighbours, have shown how difficult it is to release contracted players in order to free up money for new signings.
