If the picture I've seen on twitter is what they are moaning about then it is not that bad. The way they are going on i thought someone might have had a dump in the middle of the room

I am reliably imformed that although the team bus arrived before 13.00, they were told to stay on the bus until 13.30, & subsequently were not allowed access to the ground until 13.45.
After the game they were informed that they were not allowed to shower, no food of any kind was provided & were instructed to get on the bus immediately & leave!! Still caked in mud!!
The home team of course were allowed in pre-match as per normal & enjoyed a hot shower after the game!!
Now i'm all for removing the light bulb in the away teams dressing room to gain any advantage you can but i'm pretty sure that it's a league requirement/law to provide access at 13.30 latest pre-match, & hot showers & a warm meal post-match for any opponents??
If they want to insist it's all down to Covid then surely it applies to both teams??

Couldn’t agree more, if clubs aren’t able to offer safe facilities and fair treatment than the question of whether the league should continue has to come into question? It has to be fair for both sides.
It does sound like we weren’t offered the best of treatment, a hot shower after a game of football in those conditions is the very least of what should of been on offer.

Everything about “The Iron” yesterday was a complete disgrace! The way they have clearly behaved is amateurish and they are not fit to play at NLS level. We will not treat them or any others that visit PP in that awful way but the best thing we can do is whip their arses in the return!

Sometimes it's a case of who you know in football for the wrong reasons. A current case in point being the distribution of Lottery funded money by the Natonal League, where the findings of the independant inquiry chaired by David Bernstein appears to be pointless as it seems their recommendations are now going to be ignored.
There are clubs that benefit from certain situations and bend the rules while others get hammered for the most innocent of minor transgressions.
Braintree's treatment of away teams is totally unacceptable and it doesn't end there.
I haven't been to their ground for a few years but if I remember rightly the only way into the ground was through a housing estate, totally unsuitable for large vehicles. Surely in the age of elf n safety that can't be right. If nothing has changed since my last visit then that can only leave me wondering how the hell they were ever allowed promotion into the National League.

Interesting that 14 votes have been cast for MoM - how could anyone see enough to judge?

Mick, I saw enough to judge that no-one deserved my vote!

Wow, if this is true it's very disappointing, especially as they are posting stuff all over social media instead of just a phone call to us.
Knowing the people who run our club i would be surprised if it wasn't more than an oversight or a genuine mistake.
I have seen the picture and whilst it is dirty it would have taken no more than a few minutes to sweep up the mess, not excusing anyone but i think they should have handled the situation better.

If they are that bothered we can start a just giving page to raise money for a broom for them.

Being told about cleanliness and manners and decorum from Braintree is like being told about virginity from Katie Price! They won a minor battle , the war is still on! By way , the way they keep plummeting downhill in football terms year by year with no fans or investment , they probably not got showers and the players only missed a smart price sausage roll after game , so hey ho!!

Thank you harry_gerrard for noticing the back post incident when three of our players received the ball from a hopeful Jebb punt. With the goalkeeper out of position and not a defender in sight the three managed to cock up an odds on goal. I could have scored and no, I don't want to sign on.
I too Pete didn't know we had had a player sent off until I came back on here to look at general opinion.
But I truly feel sorry for the people that somehow paid to see that drivel.
I do feel Kingy is being let down by the way some players are playing. But I do find our way of playing slightly boring, too many touches and no end result. If Steve asks them to play like that then questions need to be asked. We just haven't got a player that can set a game alight.
