Maybe you are right Dave. There are other options out there and the priority now has to be the defence especially a left back!
Does anyone know if Omeyah has gone of is he still injured?
I must admit that the new signings this season are a big improvement
on last year's bunch.

I was reliably informed that Mark is having his op (cartliage) next week and unlikely to be ready for the start of the season.

It's a new season, a new dawn and all is going very well in the recruitment department. After last season I wasn't convinced but we are where we are and I think we should pull together and show our management some respect and give them our backing.

Incidentally, those talking about Duane and his height, seem to have forgotten that as great as he was at many aspects of the game, despite being 8ft 6ins he never won diddly squat in the air.

I too am pleased with the signings so far, but now with the news of Mark having surgery I would hope that the lads are looking elsewhere as regards this position. It's a shame as I regarded Mark O a brilliant Dartford player and when TB signed him two seasons ago I thought it was his best signing for a long time and bringing him back to the Dart's was the only place for him.
I hope Mark makes a full recovery, but whether he will be part of F&C's plans for next season is a big ask. Shame

I'm hoping Mark is going to stay (which I'd be delighted about) and I would also hazard a GUESS a defender is top of the recruitment list.
KEEP THE FAITH

I am sure you are right- even with Mark we would only really have three defenders.

I would also hope that he is retained- it would not be like keeping a player who was going to miss most of the season with a serious injury. He is too good and still young to lose to a rival.
