With Sho Silva departing I guess that means that Billy Roast will be signed to give us 3 centre backs so as we can play 3 5 2 and cover for twin centre backs in a 4 4 2 , sounds pretty solid to me , pleased Tom Murphy has signed , he needs to really push on as he has [ on occasions] shown that he can be a very good player , just needs to do it on a consistent basis !!. Still a bit light on actual Wingers , I hoped that Manny Igahore might have been the answer ???
Good luck to Warren ,always a big step up but he will be a better player for the experience

I'm sorry that we have lost out on Sho Silva but understandable, I thought he was good in defence before his injury and then his commitment to university must have made it difficult for training and games but I did like his long throw, but at least we have Alfie for that still.

Yes, good luck to Richard and Warren. One can never forget the enthusiasm Warren showed when he scored his hat-trick against Oxford City.

Duke- In the "Messenger" article Manny Igahore is mentioned along with Billy Roast as players still on trial, so there is still every chance he will be signed. The Managers intend to make decisions soon to enable players they don't sign to find other clubs, as they have already done with Sho-Silva and Mfula.

The article in this week's "Messenger" confirms that Carter and Allarkhia are not staying, that decisions on Igahore, Roast and Mensah are imminent and that they want to have another look at Hatton, perhaps in midfield.

I've only seen the Gillingham game so can't really comment much but from what I saw of Mensah in that game he didn't look anything special at all. Roast seemed a reasonable player & Igahore didn't feature.
Hatton looked quite a good player at right back as well, I'm guessing that Driver has got that place covered so possibly looking to play Hatton midfield & cover for right back when needed.
Others that have seen more games may beg to differ.
Also some seemed a bit surprised that we'd let Carter go as they thought he looked quite useful, may be his position was already covered by others. I don't know where he played as hadn't seen him at all.

The comments to the "Messenger" were that Carter and Allarkhia were young players who needed to find clubs which could give them a lot of game time, which Dartford could not promise them.

Although both ex Concord I have been well pleased with Roast and Igahore and totally agree with the Managers comments about them , Igahore has pace [ and ability] and I am really looking forward to seeing a " flying Winger " for the 1st time since Davie Martin !!!!
Just need to sign a full back as currently no [ experienced] cover , dint see tuesdays game but seems Sam Hatton[ trialist ] did well ????

We played all of last season without a recognised Right back, let alone cover!!
