Just looked on list of fa agents and he is NOT on the list, can anyone show us that he is a agent ? If FA site says he is not, then till someone shows me he is then he ain’t! Everyone knows he’s well connected and respected so players want to play for him , that must be a good thing for us . We need to attract good players if he can do that then can’t see a problem

Have you considered that possibly players want to play for him is that that he makes sure they are well paid?
Have you thought why that the 3 Kent National conference sides last season never appointed him when all 3 has manager vacancies last season?

Think that’s irrelevant as he was Welling s manager under contract. He has taken Lewes to conference, whitehawk to play off final and Welling, got farnboro promotions and fa cup runs with other clubs like Maccasfield. It seems to you have something personal against him , unless your view is based on football , I think it’s not healthy for club at this time.

If Dover, Ebbsfleet or Maidstone thought he was the man for them they would have got him.
A manager or player under contract means nothing nowadays.
Also why in recent years hasn't he stayed at any one club more than 18 months, that can't be coincidence.

We are in conference south which he is proven in with three different clubs, maybe he’s not a conference manager, but he’s proven in our leauge, so why worry that lhe’s ow sides in conference? Think also 18 months in non leauge is pretty good, some don’t last a month!

Look at his recent history at clubs and how short on average he stays.
There is obviously a problem there, otherwise he would stay longer.
If he comes to us i predict he will leave in less than 2 years, and our club deserves better, but just expressing my opinion

Hold on hold on everybody. This is a disgrace. A few points from Reg. It is no secret that I want Steve King as our next manager.
My reasons why is so so simple. His track record is proven. Everywhere the guy goes. Success follows. I can go on and on but to the points made in the above quotes.
Lennylenny you are totally correct. I truthfully believe that all the nonsense spouted about this and that is pure green eye. How the hell can Steve King be so successful. Oh my god it's got to be crooked. No its not it's his ability. Simple. So simple but people just cant accept it for whatever reason.
And Happy Chappy what can I say that hasn't been said before and is a fundamental truth. If any manager employed went and said to the board and mainly TB I want to give this guy bundles a week IT AINT GOING TO HAPPEN. SIMPLE unless DFC say yes then it will not occur simple. As for your quote about 3 Kent national league sides last year not wanting him what has that got to do with anything he was under contract at Welling Fc.
In my silly opinion If DFC do not take this route (and yes I agree who knows what may occur) and employ what Spike and I and others feel is the obvious and sensible route then in six months time we will be having the same conversation. Although criticism may be a little fiercer

And as Lennylenny states hes is not a players agent. Anyone who states this declare their info. Its untruthful. This is getting more and more like Brexit where I believe the minority want to block what the majority want.

I do find it strange that there are these negative comments about Steve King without any facts while all the supporters at the clubs he's been at rate him very highly. I will admit I use to give him loads of stick (especially his long jacket suits- sorry Steve) but with our club run as well as it is there are absolutely no concerns from me and I believe he is by far the best option.

If the Board are drawing up a short list of Applicants to be Interviewed , falling out seems pretty unnecessary at the moment..

I know there are main movers trying to elect their Man on here, but I assume interviewees will be subject to fulfilling the wider requirements of the Company , over and above the obvious tasks involved in planning and playing Games.

Hopefully the Football will be a positive focus, until a decision and announcement is made.
