Chelmsford's forum wanting a change at the top with posters suggesting any possible replacement should the position become vacant, unsurprisingly many of the names are the same as those that have appeared on this thread. Their list of candidates does include Tony Burman though, but not Hope Powell.

I cannot see the great Tony Burman joining the
Dark side at CCFC.
Black and white blood flowing through his veins has our
TB.

Totally agree with, it was just a wish list.

I’m told it’s been narrowed down to the final 5 now, only time will tell as to who it’s going to be.
According to my brother in law, Steve King was at the Ebbsfleet v Barnet game last night. Now i know the Ebbsfleet manager is under pressure after some poor results, but surely Steve King wouldn't go there, would he?
Perhaps he was just doing some scouting of some Barnet players that he might want to sign when he's back in football management when ever that will be

I believe Steve King has been to in the region of 30 games this season already and is going to as many as possible until he gets his next managerial position. Here's hoping....

That sounds as though he's very keen to get back into football management, or desperate.

Steve King goes to around 150 games a season. All levels. Top to bottom to unearth the gems that others miss.

I don't think he would have seen any little gems at Ebbsfleet v Barnet with Ebbsfleet winning 3-0 as they were bottom of the league and destined to be relegated. To lose 3-0 to the bottom club of any league is inexcusable.

I understand that Steve King is also a players' agent, which also explains why he watches so many players. I'm not sure how that potential conflict of interests fits with his managerial roles though. Perhaps he can't sign his own players?

To be a players agent you have to be a registered agent with the Football Association. Which site with the F.A did you get your information. Or where did you get the info as I'm sure you will find he is not.
