How the hell would I know Arthur I’m neither the manager or player. I’m just going by what’s happened with other young players that haven’t been given a chance.

I also thought Alfie had something but if i'm honest on what i saw of Alfie this season he didn't impress which is why he was put out on loan, i can only assume he hasn't taken that opportunity either.
There's always two sides to these decisions.

A difficult one this. Alfie looked so promising last season and although he always seemed to run out of steam after about an hour, I too had very high hopes for him. Unfortunately, when he got his only start this season (I think it was Hungerford) he had a bit of a stinker. Also, it's not just about a player's ability, sometimes there are other factors involved such as attitude, personality and commitment. I don't know what the situation was with Alfie, but let's wait and see how he gets on at Hitchin before passing judgement. As for Taylor Fisher, he did brilliantly in his couple of outings and although I don't think that was enough to force his way into a regular first team place, I was a little surprised he wasn't recalled for the Wealdstone game where we were so clearly short of numbers. Nevertheless, I hope the lad keeps his feet on the ground and stays patient.

A bit like 1 or 2 others, the young left back Taylor Fisher to name one. They need to give him more of a chance before we lose him as well.

Arthur it is not what the managers say it's what they call
Heads
Manager A "Fisher did well was M.O.M. and looks good, we have injuries shall we put him in the squad
Tails
Manager B " Well he's young and inexperienced lets put him out on loan

Tails won (Spike will understand this one  )

Mr 5th Searcher you missed my polite message. What i meant by what have the managers said to Taylor. No one knows and that's the point. They could and will be managing the lad. No one on this platform will as you indicate know. People such as Darren Corley are both highly regarded and also very well liked by the kids. They are in touch with board members working many hours. Explaining all positives and all weaknesses with players. Taylor has what looks like a bright future but as many academy coaches will tell you this has to be handled gently.

With regards to Alfie Cue from what I understand it was not football related but more of an attitude problem. Apparently he has taken this with him to other clubs as well on loan. I think he needs to get his head together as he is running out of chances

This does seem to be a common occurrence with him as it’s been mentioned a few times on here.

Lets just say that he like several others despaired at some of the posting on here and so has refrained from posting, although he may just comment if he reads this.

Wank you for your kind thords.

I see the other Alfie - Mr. Pavey - did for his old club the other night, scoring the only goal in Dover’s replay win against Havant & Waterlooville in the trophy.
