I did say the NL board haven't thought this through and one of the main reasons (as Steve mentions) is if the EFL won't relegate anyone as there won't be relegation from the NL how do you think the likes of Torquay etc are going to take that news........ do you honestly think they will continue with no chance of promotion??
It's a complete mess.

In otherwords, the NL can't make anymore cock-ups from now on.
If they piss off the Football League half as much as they've pissed us off it could have serious repercussions.

Torquay took it rather badly yesterday. Well pissed of against Halifax.

It is quite possible to read the article and still think that Robbie Savage is a bit of a twat. In fact it's very difficult to read anything and not think Robbie Savage is a bit of a twat.

Relegation/promotion between the EFL and the NL is a massive issue for the NL board.
I would be surprised if the EFL allow promotion if there will be no relegation in the NL and think of the problems that will cause, it will just be a total waste of time completing the NL division fixtures with no relegation or promotion.
However even if they did, give it a few more weeks when two thirds of the teams in the NL realise they won't make the play offs and what will they do?? Furlough all their players, quit like Parmental and the French, play youth/loanees and who could blame them as there will be nothing to play for with no risk of relegation and it will save them money.
Whatever happens the entire National League will become a total farce.

I also wouldn't be surprised if there are some legal discussions going on right now with the NL right in the firing line and god knows what the outcome of that could be.

The NL board have dug a massive hole for themselves and seem to keep digging deeper and deeper.

They should have paused the season and waited for the government announcement tomorrow and then made a decision after talking to ALL concerned parties.
