The possible changes could reach as far down as Heybridge Swifts apparently in one of the Gluey leagues.
Shame, I rather hoped that Illogan RBL would get up into the Cornish Eastern Premier.

I see Sam Higgins has left East Thurrock United today. Could be a decent signing for us. Scores a lot of goals in the National League South even in a poor side like East Thurrock

He might end up here via Concord.

Not now, he's signed for Chelmsford.

Well that's a massive miss for us.

A former City player & the deal was done so quickly must have been pre-arranged. He was very loyal to East Thurrock & most probably wouldn't have left had they stayed up.

Probably true. Yet the question must be asked why we were not in with a shout of bringing him to Princes Park. Money can't be it as we must have the potential to offer way more than East Thurrock ever gave him so it must be down to Chelmsford's management acting quickly and identifying one the this league's top strikers becoming available very early.

I suspect it was the same situation as our signing of Sam Blackman, I don't think he would have bought himself out of his Concord contract if he hadn't got another club lined up, both deals were done before anyone else had a sniff.

Or maybe SkennedyDFC, the lads just didn't want him at Dartford. That could be a possibility.

Seems Gateshead may be getting new owners just before the AGM will that be enough to save them?
