Very very happy with the reatained players & for me Luke is the iceing on the cake,gutted when he went,fantastic to have him back.Just need a big forward to compliment the talent,Alex Walll!

If only Alex he had not signed for Hemel last week. I doubt that he will move on again before playing a competitive game for them - that never happens. I am really happy though that Luke has re-signed.

After how we treated him last season, it would have taken some front to even approach Alex for this season. I shudder to think what sort of response that would have engendered. Anyway that's all in the past now, mistakes happen and we move on. The recruitment seems to be going well so far and morale is on an upward trend. Still waiting for that all important striker to seal the deal but Luke's signing is a very big step in the right direction.

Our Cup - Winning DFC Women and coaches, with the mini tournament - organising Community team will be there! Two DFC Fun Day Trophies are up for grabs. The Summer weather's bearable!

Can i take the opportunity to wish Barry Bell a very happy birthday today. As some will be aware Barry has been our goalkeeping coach and kit man. Next season he will be the match day Dartford warbler mascot. Happy birthday Barry

Seriously I hope Barry sucseeds in his new role. I know it will ruffle a few feathers but I'm sure he will keep The Darts Flag flying high.

ALEX FLISHER

We are pleased to announce the signing of Alex Flisher.
The 27 year old midfielder / striker joins us having spent the last two seasons at Margate and before that he was at Maidstone for four seasons.
Adam & Jamie ” We are excited to announce that Alex Flisher has signed for the club. Alex won several promotions while at Maidstone United and most recently has been playing for Margate. He made contact with us a couple of weeks ago and expressed an interest to play at a higher level again next season, and after discussions we were able to agree a deal. Alex started on the wing while at Maidstone and in recent years he has played as a striker for Margate so this flexibility will provide us with options within the squad. Having had a couple of seasons away from the NLS level we are keen to see Alex in this environment again, and him showcasing all of the good attributes that he has.”

A good player and a decent signing imo.

A good player but hasn't he suffered injury problems over the last few seasons, lets hope he is fully fit for us.
