He obviously wasn’t the same fullback that played against Ipswich then, the former Ipswich player.

Another competitive friendly played in sweltering conditions and the performance from our players was very good again.
Considering it's another team 3 divisions higher all our players looked very comfortable in possession and played some decent stuff, unfortunate to not to get something from both the games against league one opposition.
Really enjoying pre-season and interested to see how we will do in the last couple of friendlies when we play teams around our level, i'm quietly confident.
Nice to see Danny Leonard get his first run out and he should be pleased with his contribution, i believe it's just Ronnie to return so hopefully he will be back soon.

Taken from one of the Charlton forums :D :D :D

Considering Dartford and Welling are in the same division, wow, what a gulf between both teams, Welling need to pull their fingers out very quickly if they don't want to be at the bottom this year!

Impressed again today , team played really well , I especially liked Murtaghs overall performance as he rarely wastes a ball , always looking for a forward pass and has that great presence of a very good midfielder , the No23 [ left back] looked very quick and dangerous going forward and Graham [ a full back ?] has given Kingy something to think about as he was very good as a left sided midfielder , we now have pace and class a big improvement on last season , I also liked the No12 trialist [ 1st half] surely thats the ex Ipswich lad ???

🤣🤣 Don, Trev B would rather give up the money than ever admit he comes from Maidstone 🤣🤣.
Thankfully he actually comes from Dartford.

Enjoyed the game today and impressed all round with the squad. I think Jebb is improving and had some nice touches. For me Noor is class great on the ball and tackles back. I thought the 12 was excellent. Jernade looked good a real handful and his passing was good today and excellent on Tuesday night against Sittingbourne.

Solid performance today against good opposition. As everyone else thought the left back was very good in the 1st, thought the left back in the 2nd half was pretty poor. Noor really impressed me playing some quality balls alongside Tyrique, who I’m so glad to have back. So many options!
Onto Carshalton away.
