Well, that might very well be it for this season. Awaiting the result of the vote now and, unless I’ve missed something(??), no scheduled game until 6th March (unless Slough agree to play us next Saturday!

This season is becoming a farce teams refusing to play teams playing weakened teams just null and void the season and comeback in August and start afresh or until crowds are allowed again.
That’s my view. It wasn’t a month ago though, as then I was all for the season playing out. Now, I’m with you BB, the competition is not being played out on a level playing field. End it now and only restart when it is safe to do so AND when fans are allowed back into stadiums. Let’s hope that’s August. Let’s face it, all other leagues in the non-league pyramid have been decimated in the last two seasons.

Deduct points from next season for clubs who have refused to play this season and only play when crowds are allowed again, then these pathetic clubs that have refused to play this season won't have any excuses's

I have just been watching the test match from a country that knows the importance of keeping its economy open. Crowd looked between one third and half a full house. Some choosing to wear masks, others choosing not to. I accept that the sun was shining and it was warmer than here, but great to see a more practical approach to living with a virus, something that we will have to cope with going forward.
Club motor sport in the UK continued throughout last season until mid-September. Spectators were banned. However, in club motorsport, the competitors, officials, mechanics etc usually outnumber spectators. We all worked as usual in the paddock and the pit lane. The tea bars and burger bars operated with socially distanced queues. Masks were mandatory and the organisers had contact details of everybody in case they needed to contact us on a track and trace basis. Nobody in our team received a call. I am not aware that the death rate from Covid is any higher in the club motorsport fraternity which pretty much carried on as usual, than in any other group that stayed locked away.
I am hoping that we will be back on the track in April, operating to the same rules. I therefore see no reason why clubs at our level should not be allowed to operate with a restricted attendance on presold tickets with purchaser data collected in case of need. The bars should remain closed and attendees should be encouraged to space themselves out around the ground. If we had 500 people in attendance, we would probably know who they all were by sight. As with my motorsport crowd, we have a self-interest in complying with the rules.
Whilst a crowd of 500 would not entirely balance the books, I believe it would make a big difference. It would give sport the opportunity to prove that the risk of transmission in open grounds is very low. Attendees are at the match by choice and initially wearing masks. Once the over 50s are vaccinated, I would hope that masks will be optional and that the restrictions on the bars could be relaxed.
Our club is a small example of how our economy across our country is suffering. If we do not loosen the chains soon it will be too late for many businesses. I also fear greatly for those fans that get a lift from their sport and their socialising to help them get through the week. I know I will not be alone in knowing friends that have died due to Covid, but also those that are no longer with us because they could not cope with the restrictions enforced upon them.
The organisation of this season has been farcical. The 28 day period for voting on the latest proposals is absurd. Are votes sent in by post? I believe we have to accept that clubs will bring the curtain down on this season. Although it frustrates me, I do not blame them. Who would volunteer to operate their business at a loss when they can close the doors for nine months with the help of Government support? Once the deed is done, I hope that there is a full enquiry into what happened to the money pumped in by the Government to make up for lost attendance income. This may uncover fraudulent use of taxpayers money. Clearly, there was something very wrong with how that money was allocated if the details that have been released to date are true.
I am now resigned to looking forward to a real non-league football season starting in August. If it has not come back by then, I fear that it never will.
